On the insurance front, self policing is the best approach. I only get receipts from a couple of RMTs that are totally above board, and the ones who give me the massage are also the issuer of the receipts (they are members in good standing of the associations).
Most of the insurance fraud is perpetuated by RMTs who issue receipts through a bunch of different spas that they are never at. They get a cut but they don't do the work. The owners of these spas often give nothing to the masseuses (who earn tips only) but they give a cut to the receipt issuing RMT who is likely a business partner at many locations. I say, turn them in.

For the fun stuff, it's on my own coin.

If you look up the current list of your insurance company's posted "denied" list, it will give you a good idea of the common background of most of these 'cheating' RMTs. Enough said. I have no interest in supporting these greedy businesses that are not so good for the women who work there anyway. And if they get shut down, that's just fine.

WE know what is all about this site, writing review, sharing experience, member clashing...anyway just the fact most of this RMT doing undraped massage it is already again Alberta regulations for massage therapist etc...
It was a ready a few threads about it, about LE...etc...in the past. Why now again?
All this lady know very well what they are doing and what is the risk of doing it...
MM do you want to write guide line for members what to write or not...?????, but don't forget what you were writing about all this providers in the past...and now you coming and trying to give us a lesson... I find it very difficult to align with others who steer this unmoderated forum or pressure posters into submission for whatever reason.

As long as posts are factual, thank you for contributing. If they are not true you’ll get called out by members. Please take the time to read other cities postings to see the variety of posts allowed.

I am also going to fall on the side of Spies101. I understand where you are coming from but lets be honest we aren't babysitters nor guardians of the few RMT's that offer "more". These ladies know exactly what they are getting into and the risks involved and lets be honest for many of them there really isn't much of a threat based on this board.
These ladies use made up American names which can't be tracked back to them, any post on here is a hearsay and not usable in court and many times the name on the receipt does not match the person giving the massage.
I would assume the main time these ladies get into trouble is when they read a customer wrong and offer a HE to someone who may be uptight and they complain.
If LE wanted to get these ladies they would initiate a sting, book a massage and wait for the magic to happen.
If I wanted a pg review just looking for a good massage I would simply use Google reviews, Yelp, etc I read this site for the "full" reviews.

The smart move for "semi-legit" places would be to post 2 ads, 1 showing legit massage and 1 showing happy massage with a different number and do not offer a receipt!
I go to one RMT who offers an adult service but it is different from her RMT service and she lets you know and doesn't cross.

I am posting this thread, at the request of one particular place and individual that asked for privacy, and it keeps getting ignored.

As far as my past reviews go, I am editting them as far back as I can go.

I have already heard about a lady getting fired over this...and likely it was someone who didn't give extras in the first place. Everyone likely lost their jobs, because a couple of ladies were reported doing it.

Ultimately, who cares right? Many of you guys are just going to these places for your own selfish pleasure. If a lady loses her job, or license, she knows the risk? At least....that's the attitude you guys are portraying.

And I really don't care about the other forums: for all the activity that goes on there, they might as well be dead.

You want to continue on this way...expect Edmonton to quickly follow.

We've heard his rant before.
It's a review board for massage places. This has been a site for 8 years or so. The only thing that has changed are the multiple Asiam Rmt's that continue to gtow in numbers.

The owners open them up knowing if the ladies offer extras the place will be busier for them. Thus more money in their pockets.

Licenses are a dime a dozen. LE doesnt care about the extras. Only under age; drugs and or sex slave and illegal entry..

All the rest is old news.

Honest question to you guys, when you go see someone for a massage do you bring up massage review sites like this board or CAF, if so why?!? Do you get asked by every masseuse you go to if you are on MassagePlanet? Is this really an epidemic that I am blind to??

I NEVER talk about reviews or boards. In years of enjoying massages, may have been asked twice if I have read any reviews. I had a blank look on my face both times. I am polite and have some conversation with massage providers, but by and large I appreciate silence during massages. A deeper problem might be that some guys yap too much, and are unable to enjoy the quietness of a massage. So too many unnecessary things get said. Got to treat this hobby with more care... and hobbyists need to zip their lips sometimes.

Never mention review boards especially this one.

I have been asked how I found out about some ladies by them and usually respond Kijiji or Craigs when it was operational.

Caf was different, I never told anyone, but as reviews there were welcome 90% of the time, it didn't take long for the ladies to figure things out and put two and two together.

We need to keep in mind these are not fragile ladies as they have been around the block many times.
They are tougher than men including the ones on this forum.They have gone through more challenging times and are not affected by some forum musings.They don't need our coddling as a knight in shiny armour
