A few changes

Tropical Bar has opened that other bar and I don't believe they are finished with the entire project. I have seen the door opened during the day and a chica friend of mine confirmed they were using it. It think there are plans to connect the two.

I did not notice any re-model. I was not looking very hard, but the seforum.xxxe was in the same place, the tables around the seforum.xxxe were in the same place, and the bar was in the same place. I did not even look upstairs to see if anything changed there....but I have never been up there anyway.

Samps, it was nice to see ya again. Glad to know you raised $1000 for the orphanage. I didn't make it cause I had a 2 hr date with a SG from El Porton. I'm gonna post on it.

As far as the New York bar is concerned, I did not like the changes. There was NO reason to remodel it. It was really nice very classy before. The problem is NOT interior decorating. The problem has ALWAYS been TRAFFIC. They just can't get enough mongers there to survive.

Worse yet, on the way to New York bar, we almost went into 2 other bars on the way thinking it might be NY? There was NOTHING looking up the sidewalk to attract you, and no frking sign that said NY, unless you walked in the middle of the street.

I found the previous night manager of Rio Rosas outside a club last night. I cannot even remember the name he told me...but TJCA was with me and he may remember. He said that the Brizuela's did buy Rio Rosas and he believes that they will expand HK into that building. I don't know how this is possible, but at least we know who owns it now.

Stopped into New York Bar last night and it was a bit slow, but they did have nice chicas in there.

I'll be curious to see how they set themselves up? will they go HK style, Chevalas or traditional? Either way, when they open it will draw traffic away from New York Bar.

Trop is a nice bar but the expansion will never give HK a run for the money UNLESS they go to the same theme as HK. But they will draw from the other bars if they get chicas in there earlier.

Nice to see Tropical expanding. It can get a little crowded in there and they need the extra space. I think Tropical's expansion will shake things up in the bar pecking order and give HK a run for their money.

LOL for the umpteenth time. It's actually a nice club but they just can't get anyone to walk one block West from HK. And it's nasty once you cross the street to get to the club.

I was wondering if any of you have been to this bar its on 7th and revolution next to hotel leon. I was there last saturday its ok local hang out it seemed then some of the girls that worked at mexico lindo across the street showed up.

A few things I have noticed most recently.

Miami Bar is going to be re-opening in the La Botana location

Tropical is expanding and will be using the Skandal Bar on the corner of Ninos Heroes and Coahuila

New York Bar will be re-opening soon.

Rio Rosas has been completely gutted and no longer has a roof. Not sure what is going up at that location.

Zacazonapan Bar has been recently closed and the police have been guarding the door....It may already be re-opened as that happens often with them.
