I keep reminding myself that moving shouldn't seem like that big of a deal, what with it being my third *$&^#%@! one in three years, second one long-distance. But this morning I found my mind spinning so fast with details that I couldn't even focus. So I sat down and made a list, thinking that maybe if I get it all on paper I won't worry so much about forgetting something important.
It's a long list. :frown: I have six weeks, which is perfectly reasonable, so I'm not sure why I'm so tense about all this. The upside is that when I'm this stressed it's really hard for me to make myself eat, so that should nicely balance out all the NotWorkingOut I've been doing.
Today I took care of arranging to drop the kitties off at their new home (Friday), car insurance ($250 more/yr. boo hiss), rental insurance, filled out online applications at two shelters, and started researching banks. It was one of those frustrating days when everything takes longer than it should, complete with techno-difficulties. I'm not sure how or when I uninstalled my printer, but it's fixed now. Well not the wireless, but at least it works with the cable.
When I get there I'm putting up curtains, and I'm not moving again for a long long time.
I wish there was someone here to slap me upside the head and remind me that a 70 lb. dog doesn't belong in an apartment. sigh I miss my big goofy dog. :frown:
