You dont need a Visa for Slovakia if you dont need one for Czech Republic. They have same EU regulations

I am not a westerner. So I assume I might need a visa to enter Slovakia. As for C.Z is confirm I don`t need a visa.

Most of Western Europe and some parts of Eastern Europe including parts of the former Soviet Union are now part of the European Union, so westerners don't need visas to visit these countries (including CZ and Slovakia). The only countries you might need a visa for is Moldova, Belarus, Russia and possibly Ukraine.

However, you should bear in mind that the visa situation is different depending on what country you come from, so it's prudent to check this with your own foreign office.

Ok... I will just bring along sufficient cash to walk on streets. Keeping the rest in hotel`s safe sounds like the best idea.

As for housing meself in an apartment , that sounds very good. Always like this sorts of idea. Has a more personalize & homely feel. But I assume there won`t be any house keepings and taxi services in such cases , right.

Many years back getting from C.Z into Solvakia we need to apply for entry visa in Prague. Does this regulations still stands.

Any idea if we pickup girls in the night spots ( discos or other clubbing arenas ) how much is the average piece for ST and LT .....

Red Baron, sorry your gonna have trouble finding Spanish! speaking people here, but English is getting more widely spoken particually with the younger people, however, most 'brothels' you will find more limited English spoken. Girls in the clubs generally will have basic English or German... K5 you will have more luck with English speaking but at a higher price.

For Taxis use AAA they are the ones who can wait at Taxi ranks and do not rip off the tourists. You can also call them if you have your mobile, they have English speaking operators.

Prague is very safe unless your planning on 'looking' for trouble, infact most of the problems occur from the English stag parties.... keep away from the UK style Irish bars and you will avoid this.

All Czech bars are easy going and you can happily visit on your own, there is no stigma here for single guys 'on the pull' Have to disagree with EuroLover... sorry, some bars are known to have working girls plying for business (Arena), but most of the cocktail bars and clubs are now just like any other club in Europe, however some places you will find sexy girls who will be happy to let you buy them drinks and you never know your luck... Try Soldni Nejisota. The Czech girls can be quite friendly

Normal named clothes are quite well priced, however the designer stuff is expensive for Prague but still slightly cheaper than most other major capital cities. Try getting out to Chodov Centrum (great new shoping mall just out of the centre and on the red metro line)

Hey there

150 Euro will get you something really nice in terms of a place to stay, the Julis hotel is a great place to stay at but even better would be to get yourself an apartment, as then you dont have to worry about bringing girls back to your place.

Yes it is relatively safe, but its the same as anywhere else you go, whenever you leave your city and go to a foreign one obviously you need to exercise caution, viollent crimes against foreigners in Prague is rare, the only 2 things you need to be careful of is Pickpockets and Shady cab drivers, use only the cab drivers that are called do not pick them off the street.

Make sure to only carry with you the cash you will need to do what you want, leave the rest safely at the hotel, you wont get mugged but the pickpockets are good.

Clubing in Prague can be good, but of your looking to hook up with local girls then i suggest you make freinds with some Czech people before you go, as meeting the average non pro girl aint easy.

Clubs are in alot of ways like brothels anyway, as alot of the off duty pro girls go there to unwind and possibly pick up a foreigner for some paid fun, as they then dont have to give any of the cash to the club that they would normally work in.

As for the clothes shopping i have no idea, will have to wait and see if one of the ther guys post a reply for that.

Hello guys

I need some advise.I will be in C.Z on july for about 2 weeks. Need advise on the hotels ( buget about Eruo 150 or less per day ), if they are girls friendly. Also do most people there speak English or Spanish.

Is it safe to walk around alone be it in the night or day. How is the night life there any reccomendations.

As for shopping for clothes, is it cheaper there or down in Italy.
