Alphacare mini Rip Off!

Went to Alphacare this morning, not that I did it on purpose but I arrived before their morning discount ended. And although the mp I was looking for was not working I decided to stay. Shown to a room I was told it was $45.00, I asked her about all there ads stating $40.00 for 45 min before 11:00 am. She stated that the room I was shown was a VIP room and was $5.00 extra. Ya right.. I have been going to Alphacare for several years and in fact have defended them several times on this review board but that was enough for me. According to this young lady all the rooms but the closet sized room right by the hostesses were VIP rooms. So is this a scam by an enterprising hostess or company policy?
I left! any comments?

It happened to me once that the receptionist
show me into the VIP room during
the discount period and then charged me $45.00.
She did let me switch to another room which was the
only other one available. It also happened to me once
that they gave me the VIP room for $40.00 but
I figured that my MPA might have paid for the $5.00.
That is indeed a memorable experience--near the
end of the session someone pounded the door
several times as if I was tying up their most
precious space. And I wasn't even running overtime.

As much as I was pissed off I kind of doubt
AC could be so stupid as to suddenly upgrade all
of their non-VIP rooms for
an extra $5.00. They might as well raise the
door fee by that amount. It is also my
understanding that they can't charge me
the extra $5.00 if the VIP room is the only
vacant room for my session.

It would seem that AC has been having quite a few problems in the customer service area. What gives? Are they determined to blow off their customers, and not in a good way, mind you!

AC pull the same crap on me once as well...it seems like they have different story for different people...

I once went on Saturday and was taken to the small rooms. So i asked the guy if I can have the other bigger room ..he said that will be extra 10...I told him i always get other bigger rooms for free...he said that on Friday and Saturday bigger rooms cost 55 ......

go figure..
