Very poor handling of a situation.

this was a brutal experience! I called about 25 minutes before I could get to the spa and asked who would be available - Anna is - well I hadnt tried her but thought why not....I hop in the car and get to Gemini. on time! Another girl answers the door and says Anna is running a little behind and you have to wait about 5-10 min...no problem - I sit in a room and begin reading a magazine. 5 min later Anna comes in and says - sorry Im running behind and my appointment is too - he just got here so Im going to be 45 minutes do you want to come back another time....I said Im on time this guys is late - send him home...she says sorry but she has already got him in the shower.

Im sorry - but I have an appointment, Im on time and I get this treatment - she didnt even think it was a big deal...I spent 25 min in traffic going to this place and now didnt have time to get a massage before I needed to be home.

Poilicy should be - if you are late - you might have missed your appointment - dont punish other clients that respect there appointment times. A good spa and an attendant with common sense could figure this out...what a poor poor decision on this girls part - she wont get far with this behaviour.

I feel bad for you Cjacks.... I also had a somewhat similar bad experience with a recent trip to Star Studio......

I can understand having to wait when you are a walk-in client, but when you book an appointment, any wait over 15 minutes, is unacceptable (considering you have arrived early or on-time for your appointment)!!!

I Haven't been to the B-Chain enough to know if this type of disregard for customer service is normal for them.....

But one bad experience is enough for me not to go back...... I think I'll stick to the more upscale Spa's like SRM or Allure, where they always go the extra mile for there clients.....!!!

I had the same experience twice ......... I love the quality of service when you actually get a massage but twice I had the same experience ..........

yeah - i will only do walk ins there now, or maybe I will book appointments ahead of time and not show much regard for actually keeping them. If they dont respect the time why should I.

you are right though - stick to the high end spas like SRM, Allure and HFH.

crap happens all the time even in the highend spa's....few times at Bluepearl and SRM...its all part of the business...but it really sucks when this happens your rushing and trying to avoid making a accident on the road to make there on time and this bull crap has to happen.....

This is an example i booked a 11 am appointment. I got there at about 10:50 am rang the bell and was told to wait 5 minutes which i thought was reasonable.
11:00 rolls around a clients leaves i am told 5 more minutes which is fine she need to change and freshen up.
While i am waiting another client shows up. When she (not naming names this time as i got reprimanded prior) comes and says hi and then asks the guy that came in after me if he had an appointment. He replies he did at 10:15 and was late. I am told i will have to wait 30 to 45 minutes and maybe i should book another day............. Hey i know i have a face only my first 3 wives could love but puuuhhhleeaze......

thats even worse than my experiece I think....how come some people dont have an ounce of logic? And then they wonder why guys stand them up sometimes and are no-shows.....a little respect for appointments - or dont have any!
