I've been in amnesia once, very much like a US strip club with pushier girls. It's fairly nice, but to me is a waste of money when much cheaper and nastier fun can be had elsewhere. If you like burning money in an overpriced strip club with nice furnishings then it is fine, but then why go to TJ?

The Mexicanomics does make sense. A guy stumbles in and says OK 1 drink, gets taken for $11, yes why not $12? At what price does the guy say fuck this & walk? A place like that has learned from the California customer service model, I only need to sell one beer to everyone, once.

$100 for 1 hour, in reality, $100 for one blown wad. When I'm with the chicas I do not attempt to prolong the encounter, I want to make sure I knut, then I leave. Many provider complain that I take too long, and I do, but never even close to an hour. I contend that the $100 girl can do a guy every 45 minutes on a saturday night, including hosig down the privates, finding the next one, and getting to the "Do you go upstairs?"

Since we have been talking about P&B on another thread I'll bring up "Amnesia" it's another club in the southern REVO area, that many guys live by because they love this place so much. On another site some Yo-Yo wrote a letter to "Amnesia" instructing them on how they should run their business from a American's point of view, and I might add a conservatives view point as it seems conservative types from the US like this place?

There are many guys on sex forum that talk about " Mexicanomics" and according to them it's backward thinking on the Mexican's part as when business is slow, they say supply and demand laws dictate you should lower prices, but with Mexicans they instead often raise prices! The big problem with Amnesia it seems is they raised their price of ladies drinks(fichas) from $11 dollars to $12 dollars at at time when due to the economy, passport laws, and news reports of police corruption that Amnesia should instead lower the price. My whole take on 'Mexicanomics" is guys like this don't see the big picture from Amnesia management, which I believe says, if a guy is dumb enough to pay for a $11 dollar drink he would in all likelihood pay $12 dollars too?

Another "Mexicananomic" thing you hear about is SGs, the SGs want $20 dollars for 15 minutes, but when you ask them Ok how much for one hour most of them will tell you $100 dollars. To mongers from the US this makes no sense, thinking ok if it's $20 dollars for 15 minutes, then you just multiply that price by four, and you should get $ 80 dollars not $100 dollars, so they get mad and say it's "Mexicanamomics at work, or they also call it SG math. But from the SGs point of view, she may be thinking she could get 6 guys in one hour on a busy weekend night, or perhaps she doesn't want to be with a monger for one full hour?

OH NO it's Dark Amigo, Mr Amnesia himself! Like I said guys, some guys will defend this place with their lives, telling you they got the most beautiful girls in all of Mexico, and will fuck too, but only the most distinguished gentlemen.

Fireballs...this is one of the times I agree with you. That's a good summary of Amnesia.

What's funny is that while the chicas at Amnesia are good looking they aren't all that special. I remember a favorite of mine who used to work in an MP starting working at Amnesia. Of course, she tried to raise her rates. I'm sure she got it from the some of the guys who patronize Amnesia, but not from me. (I knew where I could find chicas every bit as good looking who'd provide a great session for the going rate.)

I love to bash Amnesia and for good reason.

But first the pro's Amnesia does have some beautiful girls, no fat girls, and most of them speak at least a little English, it's a nice place, and they play a lot of American music, and the Mexican music they do play won't assault your ears nor is it that loud.

The negatives: This place has a lot of them. This place is a gringo rip off place. It's designed for the American tourist in mind. The first rip off is the $5 dollar entrance fee they might want to charge you. What you do is pretend to walk away, and they will always call you back and let you in free here.

Since this place is styled after American strip joints, expect the same behavior from the dancers, as soon as you sit down, you'll be attacked like flies on shit! One girl after another will come by and ask you if you want company, want to buy them a drink, want a lap dance. Some will even sit on your lap and start grinding away, making you feel obligated to buy them a $10 dollar drink, or buy a lap dance. ( sometimes you can take advaneforum.xxxe of these free dances)

The prices for the lap dances start at $20. The $20 dance is really only a tease to make you buy the more expensive dances behind a small curtain. The $40 dollar dance is better with her topless, and usually allowing you to touch anywhere, and she'll do a nice sensual dance. The $60 dollar is a fully nude lap dance, and off the charts compared to American clubs, but really only lots of rubbing and touching, and promising to do more if you buy another $60 dollar lap dance. I believe they also have a VIP area, but I haven't tried that, as I only been to this bar about 3 times just to see what it's all about or taking newbies wanting to see other places besides the zona.

The main problem I see with this bar is the constant up sell and promise for sex, or BJ which the girls rarely if ever deliver, But you know what, most guys that are regulars at this bar and they have lots of them, don't go here for sex. They just like to come here and talk and drink with the girls and buy a occasional lap dance. That's ok if that what they want, but for guys like me who go down to Tijuana for sex....this bar is just bad news!

If you are lucky enough to get an Amnesia chica to give it up to you it's expensive. Anywhere from $100 dollars to $500 dollars with the average being about $300 dollars or so. The guys if they are getting it for $100 dollars are making it up in other ways buying lap dances, and maybe the legendary double drink that comes in at $22 dollars in some of these bars! You are not going to get cheap pussy here, when these girls are already making $60 dollar a song just doing a lap dance, even if they only keep half the money.

My experiences at this bar are usually I walk away with my wallet lighter about $80 dollars, and I get maybe one 2 for 1 lap dance. The lap dances are nice, and it's a nice warm up for the zone, but I rather warm up with a nice $20 dollar SG then a $40 dollar lap dance, but that's just me.

Keep in mind lots of guys like this place and will defend it, but I believe a typical response is one I got from my friend when I took him here. He said, 'why did you take me to this place, it's nothing but a rip off place where the girls lie to you, and want more and more of your money." ( he was into this bar for about $120 dollars with drinks and lap dances, no sex)

IMO Amnesia is way overpriced. (Plus cab drivers get a nice comission for taking guys there--which is how they put Lord Blacks out of business, which was also overpriced.)

It is nowhere near Boleros and about 9th and Rev...expensive drinks, and the chicas generally make really high quotes for sex...like $300...I went in there a few years ago, and they tried to hit me up for a $20 ficha drink.

I had been to Amnesia once a few months ago as sort of diversion, it is outside the zona, and taxi drivers are probably given a comission for getting customers there. It is more like a U.S. style strip club except of course you can get "add ons" at a price. They have seforum.xxxe dancers and private booths, the dances start at 20$ and the girsl will quote more for extra services. They have a cover charge of 5$ or more but beer is cheap at 1 or 2 $ I think for clients, probably much for the girls. It is not like the full service like takign the girl to the hotel room like you do in the zona clubs. The full service if any will be in the booth at prices much more

I was talking with one of the Cabbies and he told about a place called "Amnesia" it's near "Bellero"..Supposedly they have girls from around the world like Asia, Russia and other places besides south america..If any one has any info please post up!!!
