Hey Thanks for the great info. So this must be the Red Light Zone for Cautla. How do you exactly get to this Zone? I do my travels thru South America and Mexico by buses so How would I stop in this place without a Car? How much would a Taxi cost from Cuatla?

Hadn't considered Cuautla since it is east of Cuernavaca, but could be. Lived there for 3 mos in 2001.

Las Vegas is a walled compound with several bars, all with girls available and strip shows at nite. Some bars seemed to be permanently closed. Never been there in daytime, so no idea whether girls working in daylight hours. Only real beauty I saw was dancer from D.F.- no sex, I asked. Cheap- 120 pesos.

On way to Oaxaca, suspect practically all towns have bars with women working, usually on outskirts of town. Just a question of asking taxista.

I told you this before it is an Alternaive Bar where all people go too and has live sexshows but sometimes you must wait very long for the shows maybe ubtil 3 am or so. It sucks waiting for that. What more info do you have on Taxco? There is no Red Light Zone anwhere in the Taxco area? Hey Dude you think you can also make it to Chipancingo for me and check out the Red Light Zone there for me too? It is like less then hour away I think so Please do that too if you can. I might be going to Mexico City before the end of May so I will check out the wex show.

I have been to Taxco a few times and the only whores that are found there are located in the titty bars right before you enter the city. They are roughly $300 pesos for an hour and I only found a few good looking ones worth doing.

I was told by a taxi driver that Cuernavaca (sp?) has a red light district. The two cities are roughly an hour away from each other.

Blacksheep I think the city was Cuatla. I am pretty sure on that. Cuatla is like an hour or so south of Cuernavaca and is like I think a 110,000 population more or less. There seems to be a hanging scene for locals there seeing Local Bands and bands from Mexico City too. I am talking about bands in the hard rock genre style to gothic type music. Hey Also again Can you mention more on Las Vegas? Hey also then what other cities have some Red Light Zones on the way from Cuatla to Oaxaca? I also wonder about any updates on Cuernavaca? Las Vegas on road betw I. de Mat. and Cuautla, just before Cuautla. Any taxista will know where. Can only guess the town you refer to is Iguala or Chilpancingo, Gro. Surprised no action; prostitucion legal in most of Mex, even small towns have a scene.

What about Anything in Toluca? I have been in Toluca two times maybe three times. I could never find out if a Red Light Zone was in this city. I would always try to look outside of the sleazy two floor bus station in Toluca to see if any whore action exists in that sleazy area but nothing nada. Toluca too is kind of a big city. There must be some SWS near this bus station or a Red Light Zone outside of the city or some small city nearby. Someone help Me on this?

The farthest south I have been From Mexico City is Cuernavaca a few times and some city like 2 to 3 hours south Of Cuernavaca. I did not remember the name of this city but it had like a population of like a 110,000 more or less. I just stayed there overnight. There would be Heavy Metal and Hard Rock bands that would come to this city but When I asked A Cab Driver about a Red Light Zone he should this city had a Zone Intolerance which means a no tolerance level probably not even anything outside of this city best to go back north towards Mexico City or to Cuernavaca. Or to the place You mention Izucar. I hope You and Gollum can post more info too on This City and also help Me out on What City I went to in the late 90s. You could try asking a taxi driver about cabarets, or mujeres, chicas, etc. The highway you heard about is probably the road to Cuautla, Morelos. Just before Cuautla, on right hand side is Las Vegas, a zona roja active in 2001 (last time I was there). Quality of women not high, but cheap, 120 pesos. If I may ask, "Why Matamoros?" Not exactly noted for its touristic amenities.

This is way out of date, but I lived for a couple months in Izucar de Matamoros over 30 yrs ago. At that time there was a very active zona roja right in town. Can't say what situation you will encounter today, but would be surprised if there were no "cabarets" (term used then) in town. Good luck!
