hi everyone,

at the risk of sounding like your worst nightmare, I'm an experienced TV writer who's been doing some research into massage parlours. I'm creating a TV series that I'd describe as "ER in a massage parlour." What I most want to do is develop interesting and real characters, and follow their lives in and out of the workplace - this means MPAs, clients, managers and other workers. But yes, I'm interested in the massage parlour as well - how one works, what are the legalities, what makes one good and one not-so-good, what's an average day like... you get the picture.

I know that people are rightly suspicious of outsiders who come along and want to learn all about their world, and I hope I can assure you that I am both respectful and circumspect about anything you would share with me.
