We are trying to form an organization to help holistic centers in toronto, please feel free to contact myself, holly if you have any input or are a holistic center that has been harrassed by law enforcement. [email protected] ALL CAPITAL LETTERS

if you have a body rub in toronto you are more than welcome to join, there will be no fee to join we just need owners and attendants to start stepping up to the plate, no names of spa's will be named, the only obligation you have is to attend a meeting, hopefully in a month, to go over options on how we can possibly change the bylaw in toronto.

Having said that there have been changes in toronto's bylaw that you are not aware of, such as the city issued a new system that if you recieve 6 or more bylaw charges in a year they can refuse you're license and you will have to attend a tribunal to get licensed again, but what they fail to mention is that here is now a "demerit" system in play, if you get even a single bylaw charge they can refuse your'e license, and send you to the tribunal, this bylaw is also for bodyrub parlours.

We live in 2009, we are not living in the 18oo's. We allow gay marraiges, and the city of toronto is proud of that, we allow pornographic films on our televisions, and movie stars and porn stars make millions off of that, (halle berry made ten million to show her tits on t.v) and that was okay! But god forbid that 2 consenting adults massage each other naked for a price is horrible!

I'm hoping that what we can do is fight for our rights! We need to join and form a group that will protest the city's b.s. I know that other owners would like to be discreet but we need this.

So please, guys, mpa, and mps, lets start a war!

But why would a body rub parlour owner who pays much more for a license than a holistic license support this. Just my opinion.

I think that they should merge, it really shouldnt make a difference about the money involved for the cost of a license, at the end of the day, both of them usually provide the same service, but I think that that the whole support thing is great for both parties. and maybe it could benefit the whole massage industry!
personally I would love to know where this meeting is going to be! I'll do my part and support the cause!! and hopefully see all the mps in action!
