bar owners-your thoughts

now this may be another private question and if you dont feel like answering, no need to, just curious about your feelings:

i was wondering if people who own bars or go-gos tell their families or let them visit?

for me personally, i would be completely comfortable with having my friends and family come to a bar i owned. id explain what the girls do that stay at the bar. i think the only thing that i dont think my friends and family back home would understand, and id be sheepish about, is the bar fine issue. i think my family and friends would look negative at that.
id also be uncomfortable saying i owned a gogo. i was just wondering people's opinion, even non bar owners

Well as most people know my family were out staying with me for a month last summer, so no secrets. They got on great with all the girls and never gave a thought as to their extra curricular activities/hobbies

I think everyone will agree no matter where you come from, who you are, or you are a couple the girls look after customers with alot of respect or fun if required:biggrinlo

I know plenty bar owners and other x pats who have their family out

Its amazing the influence of the British Victorian era has impacted on so many people from different nations, if u know what i mean

Hey:

This is an on going problem for us guys.When I was home last year staying with my elderly father there was no way I could explain how I liked living in Patong.He knows I run a bar and restaurant - in fact two of my sisters have been out on holiday and been happy.:embrassed

The problem is he is from a previous era and does not under stand why I want to live in a "heathen country."(his words)

I go home to see him and ,to say the least,relations are a little strained.He is still my papa so I just play along.

again, id have no problem bringing friends and family to a bar i owned and even talk about how the lady's get a % of drinks bought for them. the only thing i dont think they would understand, and think badly about is that i was getting paid money for them to leave the bar with a customer, however small it is. i think they would look down on that

Botton line is you sell drinks not sex.


Just tell them the money you collect is to compensate for money lost from not having her working in the bar. What happends between her and the customer is beyond your control.

Its not like you advertise the services rendered. That is the job of Mama sams

selling drinks.if the girls want to sell more its up to them,and in the grey area barwowners is helping them.i would say a ladybar-owner might be a semipimp.but for sure not a full pimp.and for family might not tell ALL the truth,. Its not much to be embarressed about really. its not often the guys crawl up under their skirts or the girls having tequilashots on their tits ...and with family around might tell some girls to be coool...:ytounge:

again, like i said, id have zero problem showing any family and friends a bar i owned in LOS, with bg's and all, but i just think they would look down on it if i collected money for them to leave

Not to offend any of the bar owners, but imho its just clear what is going on, and i would say its part of the business concept. As a bar owner you are in the sex industry, but there is nothing wrong with it. The barfine is a hot topic imho, as if the girl is just be payed out of the ladydrinks, the barfine is what for?If she gets a monthly payment, then of course it is for the owners payments he does give to the girls. Otherwise it is ??
To speak for myself, i wouldnt have any problem to tell people if i would own a bar.But also would explain how the business is going on.

Same here in germany if you own a brothel. The business is officaly a hotel business, renting rooms and what the girls are doing in the rooms is just their business.But of course you own a brothel and not a normal hotel.

Just a curious question to the bar owners in an not offending intension!

What would you do if ALL of the BG´s working in your bar would say that they dont go with customers anymore?
How would it effect your business because after a short time the customers know that your girls are not available and maybe some of them will stay away. I know that there are some bars where you can´t barfine the girls and they are seen as an funny place to get a break from the BG hassling(me thinks like shipwreck).

I don't see anything wrong with brothels; in fact I quite like broth and in summer sometimes prefer it to soup....
