Looking at the word from that angle, you are right, many people say "savings" I've heard it in US newscasts that mentioned the new DST and people talking about next weekend.

You know that almost everyone says "savings" instead of "saving", so I was being more anal towards everyone...as far as misspelling goes, I do my enough of that, and plenty of typos as well.

I can be anal too Sampson... like in all the way posters here misspell Mexican names just because they are lazy to write or take notice, learn and write the correct name and soooooo on and soooooo on.
Like for example, the way you like calling Las Adelitas at TJ, Adelas Bar or just being plain lazy and call it AB... why should I mess with insignificant stuff???
But I don't do it, cause I know my fellow posters are just happy with the way they are and in someway, I do it too.

And to be a little anal..ok alot anal, it is not daylight savings time, but daylight saving time...even though it saves no daylight...just kind of "shifts it"

Well I think most everyone would like to send it back to the "old" way...it seems like the only people than changed was the US, but I don't know for sure. Anyway it is a pain in the ass for me to ask every frickin' client, if his 7pm date is US time or Mexico time and then not make mistakes when giving the chica her schedule.

I am greatful it is only for one week...in the Spring I was on a "unscheduled vacation" and this problem wasn't so important then. Besides we moved the clock up that time, so I guess I spent one hour less on "vacation" than I might have.

You don't have to believe... it is true.
Our daylight savings time changed today Sunday 28th.

Remember the new DST ordinance within Energy Pact for the US is still not law. It will be examined first after this "test".
If there was no significant savings of fuel and energy, you will go back to the "old guidlines".

You are correct sampsonrico.

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 did not become effective for the dates we change our clocks until 2007.

I believe Tijuana still follows the old guidelines that moved the clock forward one hour on the first Sunday in April and caused clocks to be set back an hour on the last Sunday in October.

In the United States (in most areas) we will now leap forward on the second Sunday in March and fall back on the first Sunday in November.

Thanks Sampson, I remember last year also there was this confusion ! This time in the States they have pushed the DST from last week of Oct (today) to first week of Nov (next Sunday)

Your favorite street girl may be at work and hour later by your watch, and staaying an hour later...until next Sunday. Next Sunday both Tijuana and California will be the same time...this week there will be lots of confusion....

For those of you that feel old, you can take advaneforum.xxxe of your youth by crossing the border and being 60 minutes younger when you arrive...caution for those that live in Mexico...you loose an hour when you cross.
