Blue Pearl?

How does everyone here feel about Blue Pearl Spa? I've searched and the opinions seem to be mixed. I'm landing at Pearson early on Friday and I want to book an early appointment. I know they open at 9am. Does anyone have any advice for who to see there, or maybe another eearly morning place? Thanks...

If by "mixed" you mean that we are divided between how rundown the spa has become, or how neglectful the management is, or how inconsistent the pricing and service is.... then I suppose you have a point.

Once one of the Top 3 in the city after renovation, I dont think they've run a vacuum or done a minute of maintenance since then. Pity.

HFH, SRM and Allure are all closer to the airport and all are very good, clean, reputable spas with a nice selection of attendants. Stick to those.

It takes money & time to renovate and update spas. The owners would rather pocket the cash for themselves. They are in the business to make money.....

For the door fee paid to them, one deserves at least
decent soap, clean and not worn towel, hot water and shower that works. If Paris wasn't working there, I would not go near that place. Now Paris is no long working, there is no reason to go there at all.

I am not sure when she stopped working. I last saw her at BP a year ago in July 2006 and in December she was not on their schedule. Her photos were gone from their website soon after.

She is not currently working, I believe and has not decided what to do yet. She is the prettiest and has the nicest personality one can find in this business. She has the girl next door, Playboy playmate look.

Making money over the long term means keeping repeat business. Letting the place down looses business, so they aren't making money that way.

Just thought I would let you know that there has been some renovations done at Blue Pearl. There is no longer carpets in the room, they are now marble tiles.

Have they fixed the showers so that there are knobs to turn the water on? Is there hot water coming out of the shower? Is there real soap in the shower stalls instead of some liquid that look like dish washer detergent? Are there clean, fresh towels instead of worn floor mop type towels? Are these not what one would expect for the door fee charged. If one doesn;t know what a top spa should be, go visit SRM.

BP is just a pain in the ass to deal with.

Tuesday I called BP looking for my Shanti fix.

The receptionist told me Shanti only works Mondays and Wednesdays.

That's strange, I thought, coz that's not what Shanti told me.... so I went to the SOURCE herself. She normally works Monday to Thursday day shift.

I know the receptionist could have made a mistake, but according to the complaints on massageplanet.net this type of shit happens all the time.

... and by the way BP is still using OLD Brianna's pictures... 2 years after SHE quit and 3 months after Shanti started.

It's not Shanti's fault if BP can't get its act together
