Bodyfriend, a healthcare robot company, announced on the 2nd that it has sponsored a massage chair to the Cheongeum Welfare Center under the Korea Deaf Welfare Association.

Bodyfriend held a massage chair delivery ceremony at "Sori Maru," a shelter for the hearing-impaired in the Cheongeum Welfare Center, which opened on the 30th of last month.

Cheongeum Welfare Center is Korea's first deaf welfare center used by 1,500 hearing-impaired people, and supports education, vocational training, and cultural activities for the social and economic independence of the hearing-impaired.

Bodyfriend also sponsored massage chairs to more than 10 welfare centers in Gangnam-gu, including Cheongeum Welfare Center, on the Day of the Disabled in 2022.

An official from Bodyfriend said, "We are continuing to sponsor massage chairs throughout welfare facilities in Gangnam-gu to support those in the blind spot of health care and to fulfill corporate social responsibility."
