One of the places I used to frequent a lot got a visit from 2 Markham Bylaw officers yesterday. They spent about 45 minutes at the place checking the business license, conditions and the licenses of the ladies working there. There were two customers in rooms at the time. Communication was a challenge but everything turned it ok except for one of the ladies who had a license for Toronto but not for Markham. She got a warning and was told to get the proper license asap. The two officers never entered the two rooms holding the customers. I'm guessing they were pretty shaken up from being stuck in the room for 45 minutes and most likely will not return. LOL
Don't ask me or DM me for the name of the place because it really doesn't matter. This could happen anywhere.

Yeah, again problem with communication including from my friend. Bylaw guys weren’t looking at the ladies massage licenses. They were looking for the ladies “ID” including DL. The one lady had no ID whatsoever and that’s why the warning

I assume this could be a classic case of trafficking if she does not have an ID whatsoever , need to worry about those establishments who get these gals,do you mind letting us know which spa it is , our safety is sacrosanct

There we go again. I have dealt with so many Asian spas and I have never ever come across any traficked girls working at spas. Spa owners will never employ a trafficked girls knowingly. Trafficked girls only work at in call places and strip clubs where pimps can have full control. Spa girls come and go as they please. Some girls on visitor visas or expired visa do not carry ID with them on purpose. I have driven them home a few times and they always asked me to slow down because they didn't want me to get pulled over by cops and get into trouble.

A body rub is simply a licence designation for a particular type of massage place (see Markham's "Stationary Business Licence" regulations for the various types of spas), just as "holistic" in the City of Toronto is just a particular licence designation, its usage here notwithstanding.

The OP didn't provide the name of the establishment in question (and has subsequently clarified that the documentation requested was ID not a licence in any event), so I don't know what kind of licence it has. Just pointing out that some "spa" attendants in Markham require licences.

My lady put her robe back on and I put my undies on and I don't know why since you are naked for RMTs anyway. Maybe the condom gives it away. Anyway my girl had to go out to deal with them as she is basically a CBC because the other girl wsa having communication issue. Check the license and I think the ladies and then move on. Very tense 15 mins for me lying there watching the CCTV. The good thing though is I basically got two session out of one.

My view is that they are not going to do any enforcement when it comes to stuff that happens there. Even LE does not care what you and your MPAs agreed to as long as they are not underage, illegal alien trafficked or force into providing services by pimps. Nothing to worry about unless you are into really young ones.

Perla is a licensed body rub in Toronto. Those bylaw officers are pretending to do their job to see some eye candy.

Bylaw officers north of Steeles are about as unimpressive and yet pretending to be York Pork.

For us buyers of services they have no impact whatsoever.

My RMT is pretty good at drapping so she does care. Easier for her not to have to deal with shorts.

Why would the costumers care or be shaken up over bylaw officers? Its bylaw. A customer is under no obligation to engage them. Tell them to pound sand. People are such pussies.

It's ignorance. People don't know their rights, don't know the law, think that bylaw officers are cops, etc. I've been at Seduction twice when bylaw came by. I never even saw them, I only find out because the MPAs told me.

I got stopped by cops leaving a hotel incall once. They asked why I was there, I told them I was meeting a girl. They said there were reports of prostitution at that hotel, I said I don't know anything about that, then they let me go. I knew they couldn't do anything else. I don't know why they even bothered stopping me.
