Can a massage therapist have visable tattoos?

Im going to school to be a message therapist around august and when Im finished going to school I plan on working at a spa or a gym( something like that)

[I have two tattoos, but they are not visable, but I want like 8 more and some of them will be visable]all of them with serious meaning to me.

do you think they will allow visable tattoos?

It depends on the spas rules. Most of them will probably say no, but you'll find a couple that don't mind. I would call some spas that are hiring and ask (don't give your name, just say you're interested in applying) if tattoos are against their policy.

I don't think they'd mind so long as they weren't something vulgar.

Doubt you're going for the naked ladies or bloodied corpses though, somehow =)

It's better to ask at your local spas or call some up.
