Ok so this is my story....

Just got back home last week from spending a few weeks in Los, most of my time was spent in Patong.
Near the end of my holiday I meet this very cute thai girl (FL) in Hollywood, we hung for a few days and the time I spent with her was fun. So its my last night in Patong she drops the " Darling I like you I really like you I know you good man for me, but you go home darling forget about me," all while crying....

So instead of letting my heart rule , this time my gut tell me otherwise and I'm glad I used my gut/ instinct as this story gets better..

So I say to her.. "Darling I think you might be good girl but I don't know you and I go back home and long distance relationship will not work darling, even when I meet girl back home do not have relationship with straight away, need time to get to know each other understand?" of course she not understand starts crying more....

So my heart gave in a tiny and say to her " maybe we can stay in contact do you use facebook?" she replies " yes darling" so I send friend request on facebook to which she accepts.

So I arrive back home last week and she send msg on facebook " How are you darling miss you so much" Later that week we chat on facebook she still tell how much she misses me and wants to be with me forever and she has no money might have to go home.....

Hmmmm this story is starting to be very similar too other story's I have read. So we continue to talk and some point in the conversation I say to her "darling what you been doing since I left, have you gone to hollywood?" to which she replied "No darling stay home sleep & watch T.V darling not go out"

So Saturday I was on facebook, I decided to go onto to her profile, was looking at some of hers pics and then I notice she likes Holly patong (Hollywood nightclub)
so clicked on Holly patong, noticed they had put up photos over the past few nights.So out of curiosity was looking these photos, and then what do I see??? Photo of her and some other ferrang and he is kissing her in the photo.. But it gets better upon looking at photos from other nights she was with other ferrangs....

Well so yesterday she send me msg "darling missing you so much blah blah" So reply back saying "so you have not been out??" she replies "No darling not go out stay home darling" So I reply back and attach photo to reply "so you not go out how do explain photo taken of you other night in Hollywood?"

Guess what no reply from her have not heard from her since...

As I have been to thailand many times I pretty know most of the scams and most Thai girls games, but in saying that I almost fell for it and for guys going to LOS for the first time, I hope you read this and understand some of the traps and games most Thai girls will play to get you sucked in....Just be careful...

Any Hollywood regular is hardcore FL territory but at least you followed your gut instinct.

The tears come easy but it was probably real tears, TGs live in the moment and at that moment she was going to miss you. Just next day it was some other guy...

Your right Hobbsy, The reason why I did open my heart a bit was I felt genuine sadness from her. I think its kinda sad what these lady's have to do to survive no government support or welfare like western country's and not knowing the ferrang they go with is good or bad. Like I said not all thai girls are bad I know of many ferrang who are married or have GF and are happy.

I think Hobbsy made a good point, they live for the moment so She probably genuinely was sad to see you go.

However to think that she wouldn't be back to 'work' the next day would be naive. And she was hardly going to say, yes I was in Hollywood last night kissing a farang!

I knew she would go back to work/ Hollywood Gecko so not naive at all. Maybe hard for her to say was at Hollywood, but if she did I would not have problem with that cause I made very clear not relationship.More of a point about being honest, but maybe she feel shamed I really don't know.There is still a lot about thai culture/ custom I don't understand...

It was just a white lie on her part in order to save face for both of you. Catching them out like that doesn't really do anything for either of you as she has lost face and you have maybe lost your turn with her for good! Not that you'll have any trouble finding a replacement! 555

Mate, I think she was genuine when she told you she really liked you. As mentioned above, Thai girls are mostly living in the moment and she'd probably gone through a string of a*sholes before she met you and you treated her well and showed her a good time... and perhaps you are a hansum man! Deep down, I believe that most of these girls, if given the choice, want to find "the one" and leave the bars and that lifestyle, despite the money. As long as there is security in their life. But having said that, you made her no promises of sponsorship or gave her any indication when you'd be back, so she can only do what she knows in a life of uncertainty. Doesn't make her a bad person, she's just in an unfortunate situation and probably has mouths to feed back home.

I like the Hollywood and Tai Pan pages, they are great for checking up on girls. My girl has not shown up on any of the pages... yet. And her story of going home genuinely seems to be checking out at this point. She went back to BKK the day after I left last month and back to her Salon, called me from the bus, sent me photos of the salon, of her working in it and I've even spoken to some of her (apparent) co-workers. I've called her at many random times and she's never missed a call nor given me any reason to believe she's anywhere near a bar or even on the street! Mostly just the sound of a TV going and sometimes the girls she lives with talking in the background.

She's now back in Korat for a couple of weeks and since she's been there the reception has noticeably been poorer and the background noise in much quieter. I'll be heading to BKK next month and I'll be with her again, but the irony of all this is that now I seem to have found a "good girl", I just want to be a butterfly. I'll break it off with her at the end of this trip. But I figure if I stay true to my initial promise of returning to her and make up some shit towards the end about distance/money/cannot come back long time etc etc then we both kind of save face and considering that I'm currently not supporting her, I don't think she'd really care.

I agree with all you say mate, as I said to another reply most TG's must hate being put in that situation going with a ferrang not knowing if he is good or bad! And yes time I spent with her wanted to show good ferrang, treated her as equal with respect not my servant! took her to lots of nice places was a proper gentlemen towards her! If I was living in LOS now would be different but I know long distant relationship does not work...

tourists/holiday makers are generally fairly easy going because they are in recreational time.
sure the girls will meet some ar5eholes but if the girl looks after them they should get the same back.
TG`s are fairly well versed on particular nationalities to avoid.
