Tried it yesterday, now my back is literally the color of blood.

Somehow the process (sliding a vacuum cup over your back) broke almost every surface level blood vessel in my back.

What medicinal purpose does this purport to have?

I'm game for new experiences and all, but this is borderline quackery.
