A Cleveland massage therapist's license has been revoked after "sexual conduct" with a client in 2019.
Court documents from the State of Tennessee Department of Health detail why Steven Taylor's license has been revoked by the Tennessee Massage License Board.
Documents say in May of 2019, a client received a 90-minute massage at the A Better You Day Spa. Taylor "grazed his crotch" with each of the client's arms while they were on their back.
The client reported that Taylor massaged her chest, including her breasts. Taylor then massaged her legs, moving higher to touch her genitalia at least 5 times.
Court documents say Taylor is guilty of willful negligence in the practice of massage and is guilty of unethical and unprofessional conduct.
The document states:
"Sexual conduct, sexual activity, or sexualizing behavior involving a client is strictly prohibited at all times. A massage therapist may not initiate, arrange for, or engage in such activities including if the client attempts to sexualize the relationship."
Taylor must pay all costs for prosecuting the case, up to $10,000.
