Could Al Qaeda strike the Zona Bars?

Al Queda hitting the ZOna. Well gents I highly doubt it because like someone else said it best, it would be a waste of a bomb, but more importantly, it would solidify the border crossing.

First of all terrorists want the general public to change their behavior when they act. Take the train and subway bombings, what did the public do next? Found other ways to travel for a while because they did not want to be victims. What did we rethink after 9/11? Airtravel. How did it affect Balli when the night clubs were bombed? Slowed tourism and local attendance. Now I ask, what would people do if they heard of a brothel in TJ blowing up, I think there would be some eyes open to how easy it is to access semi-legal prostitution, but it would not change behaviors or affect the high demand of sex shops.

So with that said, go forth and bump uglies men!

But I could be full of sh!t so make sure you wear a ballistic condom next time.

However, I seriously doubt they will ever strike the ZN. The Zona is hardly a target of consequence. Plus Mexico is both a neutral country and slightly anti-American, so they have no reason to target anyplace in Mexico.

I think al Qaeda would hit Tijuana before it hits Pattaya, because Thailand has a mixture of mongers from all over the world. But in Tijuana it's mostly American mongers, a mixture of White, Asian, and Mexican-Americans, most of them Americans.( also local Mexicans) And we know the US is now the most hated nation on earth and their is no one they would like to kill better than Americans!

But I also agree with Roaddog, it's just a waste of a bomb to kill American mongers, because just like hookers, nobody cares much about mongers, as many would view it as al Qaeda doing them a favor getting rid of whore-mongers. If al Qaeda wanted to hit a sin target, a much better one would be Las Vegas known as Sin City, where sin alone with money is worshiped.

I'm sure wherever al Qaeda choose to bomb.....they would first partake in a little flesh of a harlot wherever that may be.....as Muslims have told me many times, the body and mind of man is weak, and Allah will forgive them.

You're all ludicrous if you think they would waste their time on a monger bar ... first of all there are so many other targets with many more american people to bomb... even outside of the U.S. legitimate tourist traps ... any major hotel in Cancun ... Canada ... all throughout the Caribbean...Nassau casino's. TJ is one of the last places they would waste a bomb on .. besides they would kill almost as many mexicans as americans .. and It wouldn't outrage the public as much .. killing a bunch of HOE chasers ... half the religious right would just say it was GOD's will to strike them down.

I grew up in far south San Diego.. Beyer Blvd area. My old bedroom faced the green lights of TJ.

I've had dreams of bombs going off outside the clubs there. Not the zona norte but more like Revolution... Safari and stuff, that area.

Scary thought. I've seen the emergency door at Safari chained shut. It would not end pretty.

This is exactly what terrorists want the citizenry to do -- worry about terrorist attacks. It is also what our current leaders want us to do. Why do you think bin Laden was allowed to escape after the invasion of Afghanistan? He is worth more to Bush & Cheney alive and on the loose than captured.

It is a lot less expensive to get a passport than to hire a coyotee to cross. It is usually $2,000 to use a coyotee I believe...isn't a passport less than $100 and good for 10 years? I think mine is good until 2013.

I doubt al Qaeda would attack the zona bars, after all Mexico hasn't invaded any country in the middle east like the US. But if they wanted a lot of Middle East guys could pass as Mexicans.

One of my best friends was from Iraq and I use to take him all the time with me to TJ, because he couldn't drive because of a DUI, and if he wanted to car pool with me, you know where you must go if you car pool with me? TJ of course. So I took him to the zona, and on the way back to the border he use to like to say ," the TJ cops won't fuck with me because I"m Mexican." ( when actually he was a Christian from Iraq) And it was true, he never was brothered, and most of the chicas believed he was Mexican-American, only a few figured out he was from the middle east.

To my amazement the Border Patrol didn't pay to much attentions to him either, sometimes I was questioned more then him. I use to tell him you could be a fucking terrorist, and they let you pass with only one question. He would just laugh, and say how easy it would be to sneak into America.
