Dating MPA?

Just wondering if this has ever happened with anyone?

In general, I would never consider going out with an MPA, just because I'm afraid they would be somewhat de-sensitized to males and generally sexually jaded from their line of work.

On several occasions now, I've been presented opportunities to go out with an MPA. Either a phone number, e-mail, or a direct inquiry as to if I wanted to grab dinner with them after their shift?

I guess I'm a mid-20s, decent looking guy, so often I find I am the same age as the MPA and easily converse with them. I go to a MP just to escape from the stresses of life and work, so I don't go in with the expectations of meeting anyone. However, this has happened more than once now and it's got me curious.

The absolute worst time I was asked, went like this:

MPA:

"What do you do for a living?"
"Is it good money?"
"Umm... do you have a gf right now?"
"Are you looking to meet someone?"
"I myself haven't met anyone YET"
"Would you be interested in maybe going out sometime?"

I just laughed and shrugged it off since the initial questions are a big turn off...

Recently, I've become a bit more curious to try something out maybe. Your thoughts?

I've been in the hobby for over 10 yrs....all I can say is seen it, done it, been there...
My suggestion is take up the offer, enjoy the time and don't hold your breath for anything serious unless you start meeting her parents and friends outside the business

BTW dating people in this business is extremely stressful.....

That's the bad side of it, but I wonder how some of these guys whose gf is a mpa or even who are married to one cope with the issue. Like to hear any massageplanet.neters who may know something about that. Doesn't it seem charming members sign on with new names, on every touchy topic.

IMO...
If things started out as a provider and customer realtionship...it is a bit risky since money is involved
However if it did started out that way I think the most important thing is trust and how well you really know each other. (No different than any other relationship)
If she knows she can't pull a hat over your head it helps...one of my friend who's ex was a former dancer....they got a house together and she cheated on him...when he told me the story I told him you didn't catch her way back when!? Well, he hasn't seen as much as I have...the last girl in the biz I dated tried to pull a fast one on me...confronted her, gave her one more chance and kept doing it so I went "see you"
If you know EVERYTHING she does and you are cool with it, it helps...
If you know her past...it helps....just in case she has issues...if she has issues and can't overcome them stay away
You two know a lot of people in the biz, it helps....words travel fast and it is a small industry...
Be ready to end it if things don't look right....
As Winston said you have to take your friends and family into consideration....In my case I think 90% of my family would freak - except for one of my brothers since and my firends are totally cool with it....incl. the ones of the opposite sex.
Also remember, just b/c a girl is not in the biz doesn't mean she can't do the above to you....
I know it is easier said then done (since we aren't thinking with our brains) but keep it in mind....

I made the mistake of dating an mpa many years a go, and it wasn't the worst person that i have ever dated- but I would never do it again. I had been seeing the same mpa for over a year and eventually I grew feelings for her beyond a normal mpa/client relationship. I asked for her number- and eventually we began casually dating. That turned into a year and a half relationship. There were some pros and cons, but I wouldn't dicourage anyone from doing it. A lot of mpa's are just normal women trying to make money to pay their way through college and i'm okay with that, it's the career mpa's that you need to stay away from. I finally broke it off with my gf because in the end i cared about her too much and it really bothered me what she was doing, plus she didn't want me to got to mp's anymore. It ended, but the worst part was that I had to look for a new mpa.

Tried it once but the experience was too stressful to repeat. started out exchanging emails and phone numbers, then going out casually for drinks/dinners/make-out sessions etc.

The problem was when you started caring so much about her, you wondered how much of everything was really true. you know, she told you she always thought about you, missed you, felt like being close to you. She said those things during visits as well. You emailed her, called her. She replied, she spoke with you. but she never emailed or called you FIRST. nor did she returned your voice msgs. and then she continued to take your money after visits. got the picture?

Of course, people envied you when they saw you go out with a gorgeous young lady. But with all those stresses? It didn't last very long. My view is that she couldn't possibly get too serious with you because what she does. Unless one day she gains financial stability either on her own or by you subsidizing her daily expenses, then you can see whether it's for real.

What do you gain by going out with your fav MPA? Do you want free sessions? Is it worth risking what you already have? By keeping your relationship strictly on the professonal level, you atleast know where you stand. Believe me, the chances of this working are very very slim. Don't f@#k up a good thing.

I've been dating an SP since last summer. I personally haven't had a problem nor have I found it stressful. In the beginning, after some emailing and chatting I decided to meet with her. We only had one session. After some instant messenging, emails, and conversations, she admitted to having a crush on me.

Of course my first reaction was "Yeah right!" But once we started hanging out (dinner, drinks, movies, etc...) It was clear (at least so far) it wasn't a money or scam thing. She's often paid on our dates and even got me a birthday gift. Not once, yet, has she asked for a thing from me besides company.

I think maybe a key to the fact that there's no stress, is that we both know where we stand. Because of what she does, she's told me that she didn't want to pursue something more steady. This is fine because I feel the same. We both keep things on a level where we enjoy eachother's company a great deal...but it begins and ends right there.

Just a few days ago, she had to cancel our date because of an appointment (something she's had to do often). This doesn't bother me one bit. Maybe because I haven't invested my heart in this relationship. Also I make it a point to never push the issue of sex and just try to have fun, she really appreciates that and responds in some great ways.

I guess my main advice would be to have fun and not get attached. Let's face it, almost none of us would want our girlfriends involved in any aspect of the MP and SP trade, and if you start to see her as more of a girlfriend than friend, that's where things can get a little sticky.

This is a win-lose. You lose, she wins. She gets to feel normal,and functional, wanted, needed on a personal level, and you get fucked. About 12 hours after one of those romantic nights together she'll be wacking off some dude again.
Don't give her the satisfaction. It will cost you way too much.
On the other hand if you can keep your heart in check, good luck.
But chances of you being OK with her daily antics are what...slim and none?

I've been seeing an MPA for some time now. I think, as in all relationships, there is good and bad partners. It really depends on the girl. In my case her job is not an issue because she sees it exactly what it is... a job. Believe it or not, some MPAs are doing this to make some money. Not all of them are men-hating disturbed females with sexual problems. Some are just trying to make an honest buck. We started seeing each other right after our first session so it has never been a Client/Customer relationship. I think it would be different if she was a high mileage girl. I'm not sure if I could take that. If you feel that she's got a good head on her shoulders, why not give it a try. What do you have to lose.?
