disposable sheets

Anyone ever used disposable sheets? I've used disposable face covers (boufant caps), but never sheets. I am going on a working vacation and will be doing massage for several women. I'm staying at a resort and won't be able to do laundry so I'm deciding if I should buy these or just get more regular sheets.

Perhaps you can explain your situation to some nice resort staff person who could lend you the needed sheets? (True, most hotels do not use twin beds, but often they do have roll-aways) Never hurts to ask (anonymously, by phone

In relation to massage, just the term "disposable sheets" makes me cringe.

Not that you want to do laundry on vacation ... but many resorts have a laundry center for guests (at least the ones I've been to, if laundry is not in the room). Even the hotel I stay at when I am assisting classes in Boston has a laundry room for guests.

Or do they have laundry service available, and how much would it be to have sheets laundered?

I've never used disposable sheets, but this subject interested me, so I did a little searching (mainly to see if there is something out there that is the same consistency as the disposable hand towels at your fine hotels / which are very soft). I can't tell if any of these fit the bill, but the links may help someone in the future.



This first ones say they are suitable used for the hotel industry... so maybe they would be soft:

Design Issue

This study developed a new type of disposable fabric sheet from rayon and Manila hemp with a water resistant coating for use in nursing care.

A disposable fabric sheet that absorbs water on one side and is waterproof on the other may reduce the nursing care workload.
Reducing the difficulties of providing in-home nursing care to senior citizens is important, particularly for elderly caregivers.

PS. (I know this is a late response, but in the past I have been able to ask the concierge of a hotel for sheets when they called me out for a massage or two and then asked me to stay for other guests to follow. It may be worth a call to the concierge of the hotel you plan to stay at and explain your situation. They might just provide the sheets for you. It never hurts to ask.

I have tried disposable sheets which was given to me and eventually we went to Thailand to get them (amongst other things that we have to buy). Its soft and cool. Very economical too. Until recently, I learned that its already being sold here in the Philippines, which is more cheaper as compared to what we bought in Thailand.

All I know about disposable sheets is that it can be bought by bulk. My friend uses disposable sheets in his small resort. It's durable and economical according to him.

Mind finding out where your friend orders his sheets from and the cost? I am sure anyone who is interested in this thread would apprecate the info.
