Do massage therapists massage the glutes?

I've had a number of massages and completely understand and respect the draping rules. I always wear my underwear as well. Questiion I am nervous asking them is if they can massage the glutes (butt) legally. I assume I would need to not have underwear on. Do they massage through the towel or reach under?

I'm not some perv here, just curious and don't know how to ask them. I recently did some squats and actually hurt that area or I wouldn't request this.

We absolutely do. It's actually a part of a full body routine, but generally only done if asked. It can be done over the sheet, or there are draping techniques that are used to keep the client secure and comfortable. You do not need to keep your underwear on, altho it's a little easier with the draping if you do. That way the therapist can use your underwear as an anchor to tuck the sheets into so they have access to your glutes. Don't be nervous to ask, we hear a lot requests that may seem strange to the general public, but completely normal to us.
