Do most MPA's have boyfriends?

Okay I'm not deluded to think I have a shot (pun intended) with any attendant. However, I do think most are single. The ones I've asked usually are or I believe are lying so I won't hit on them.

I've always wondered about the hot all stars at places like HFH or IT? Do they have significant others? I know the money's good but what their boyfriends think of their line of work?
If I had a girl like Ivana, I certainly wouldn't want her working on anyone except me. ;-)

odds are many have SO's, I mean these are some beautiful women and many of the ones I've met are also interesting people, it's just logical to assume they're attached.

I think a lot of the MPA's are single because of the mental toll that the industry plays on them. After time, it can be difficult to separate work experiences and relationship experiences. If they start to do things in their personal life that resemble any practice from work, then mentally, I think some of them get turned off and can't get serious about being intimate with one single person.

A lot of these MPA's have baggage, like children, or bad experiences growing up, lack of education etc. Although they might seem attractive initially to us, I think that after time, the guys actually might lose interest...........but who knows. It's different with every MPA.......just some thoughts on my part.....

Most if not all have men in their lives. It is the curious quirk of women to need to have an example of what they deplore close at hand to have the constant reminder of why they are better.

But I will say that most of the SO's of these ladies have no clue as to what these ladies are doing.

What difference does it really make, this is supposed to be a fantasy thing guys. Those MPA's that are comfortable with me will tell me a little bit of personal stuff but that is usually only during the greeting stage. The real pros never talk personal stuff during the session as they know its a turn off.

However to enlighten you, quite a number of them have s/o's and/or children. So lets leave it at that. It's really none of our business what they do when they are not working.

I have had the pleasure of going out with 3 different MPAs during my brief career (about 8 years). We went out on dates like any other relationship I have had and had an understanding of monogamy in the relationship as well. In fact, one broke up with me because she thought I got a massage from another girl!

Did I like the fact she was an MPA? No, of course not. But I would not say anything about how a person makes their money unless I was going to offer a way to replace it. I couldn't offer an alternative, so I shut the hell up with my problems.

Were these three srewed up, not so well adjusted individuals with deviant sex issues? Not at all. Most of them had liberal sexual attitudes which I enjoyed to our mutual pleasure. they were no more screwed up than any others I have went out with.

Why would guys lose interest? What I meant by that was that some guys would initially jump into a relationship with an MPA because of looks, or physical attraction.....it would only be human nature to do so. But if they were to continue the relationship into a more serious stage, and really started to get to know the MPA, then what I'm saying is that some guys could lose interest, simply because the perception is that some of these girls have other serious issues in their lives that we would not want to get involved in. They may have children, past negative experiences that have affected them in some way, and lack of education. Now obviously, this is not always the case, but it could be. Again, this isn't to say this always happens.

I've dated one MPA, and it lasted just over two months. I will never ever do it again because of the emotional drain it has put on me, which happens to be much worse now that we are broken up than when we were going out. I found that she let me in to her life, and after seeing some things, I wanted so bad to help. Now that we are apart, I always feel a need to still want to help out, but I know I can't do that. Also, I will never be able to see her again at the MP, because it would just be a weird situation.

MPA's are entitled to a personal life and happiness just like the rest of us so it doesn't matter if they have a significant other - I just don't want to know about it during the session.

I've heard of the Stockholm Syndrome where 6 people were held in a bank vault for 6 days by armed robbers and subsequently formed a bond with their captors because they treated them nicely. We go to see MPA's for 30-60 minutes and try to form a bond in that time. It's no more real than those 6 people but we still buy into it - the fantasy that is. In order to sell the fantasy a 3rd party cannot be introduced.

Now, I know that I will likely never date a MPA (just the odds versus anything personal because I think some of them are great) so I leave that fantasy behind me when I walk out the door to my car.

I don't think I would pursue a relationship with an MPA I've had a session with simply because it would put the lady in an awkward position (although if she approached me I would consider it depending on the person). I'm the same as Tinop I'd be a little jealous of the guy but it wouldn't stop me from seeing her.

I agree with you Gramage......it is definitely an awkward position for not only the girl, but also you. We have to remember that it is just a fantasy from the time we walk into the MP until the time we walk out, and that's it. I should have learned that lesson a year ago when I dated that MPA and thought that things might go somehwere.....what matters the most is how they are during your session, and that's really it.

I really get worked up and jealous sometimes.
lol..the main reason I joined massageplanet.net was to keep a close eye on her.
I think that is wrong, but having a girl who works in this profession alomost requires myself to be this way.
Of course I will never mention who it is but let's just say she is one of the favs on this board.
I'm not even sure I should be mentioning this fact but the topic popped up...
Yes, many of these girls have boyfriends whether they admit it or not - some even have families.
I know the reasons my girl is an MPA.. She has set goals for herself and she is leaving the biz soon and I'm proud of her no matter what. She's been through a lot, and I can't judge her for what she had to do to get closer to her dreams, support her family and pay for school at the same time. She knows that it is just a job and so do I. She tells me how hard it is for her to work sometimes, because she feels so guilty.. she once called me from work crying.

All I can really say is that I can't wait til she's done next spring.
I know that many of you have enjoyed her - and you have no idea what it's like to read the posts about your girlfriend on massageplanet.net.
Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I get angry but most of the time it hits me like a dagger. (sigh) Why do I come here? I try to ignore it as much as I can but find myself logging in checking the new topics and searching for my girl's nickname.

I've been in this hobby for a few years and I've vowed never to get up close and personal with any MPA.....until now. I started dating this girl because I find her very educated and interesting. I agree with some of your comments that some of them are doing it just for some personal and financial goals. It's a temporary but painful means to some ends. It's really not up to us to judge them. I really admire my girl's courage and by the time she's done, I'll be more proud of her. But as some of you has mentioned, the thought of her servicing others just kills you. (especially when you read posts about her). Also, from time to time, she would second guess if you are still visiting other MPAs while dating her. It's a very uncomfortable situation.

At least as far as the MPA's I've known...

All have had someone (male or female) who "gets it' for free [meaning someone they don't "charge" to have intimate contact b/c they "like" or are "involved" with the person.

Most of the time, I've been told point blank that it's "a situation" they're in [w/ the other person] that's "for now" [not necessarily going to lead to another level]. Is that a problem for MPA's? Not necessarily- especially if the guy's just a moocher trying to live of the girl (with a wife or girlfriend on the side).

I'd say about ninety-eight percent of the MPA's I've spoken with say (or are at least willing to admit) that the nature (and activities associated with) the job [fondling, HJ, BB--, getting naked (with any/all virtual "strangers" who will by time) etc.], has something to do with it.

Even though the "person in the MPA's life" is "gettin' it for free"....
...it's still an issue that anybody "off the street" can pay to get close to the same treatment.

I got put in check one day.
I asked this one MPA if her "boyfriend' minded what she was doing? She asked me if my girlfriend minds that I go to MP's- or do I keep it a secret?

Ouch.

She said the only time she has a "real" boyfriend is when he doesn't know what she does.
