migueldc,Thanks for the link to the actual documentation examples in your first post.  It was helpful , though powershot seems to have disappeared. The Assessment part was not the same as what I was taught. It seems a lot of people have a different idea about how to interpret that word. Anyway, thanks again. I'm glad you answered. I'm sure it will help others.

Thanks for those links. We just started SOAP charting and you should hear the whine in my voice. Do we have tooooooooo? ok i know we do. But can I say BORING!! I know I know I know. I just like the fun stuff better. The extra info will give me more ideas on what to write at least.

Have you read or met Diana L. Thompson, author of "Hands Heal: Communication, Documentation, and Insurance Billing for Manual Therapists?"
I have taken a Whiplash: Assessment and Treatment course with her and Clint Chandler (of Boulder College of Massage Therapy) fame. Honestly it was one of the Most Fun CEUs I've ever taken!
Last I heard she lived in WA state. I thought near Seattle. *Shrug* Maybe your school can tap her for an intensive on SOAP notes or something...
She's definitely lots of fun and an excellent teacher!

Maestra, We do use her book as a guide and I believe she does live somewhere very near. I think once we get to the point of helping set goals and advising on homework and stuff it will be more fun. Right now we are supposed to just focus on the first section (S). I think I am probaly just overloaded right now. The A&P is a whole new language and now this SOAP stuff is another language. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with it all. I know that you can all probaly relate to that. Well I'll try not to go off on a tangent here. But thanks for the op to vent a wee bit of what I am feeling.
