I have african american hair

Or can i do something else that will make my hair grow back

No it will just make your hair more silkier

Massaging increases circulation to the scalp, circulation in turn stimulates a healthy scalp/hair growth. So yes to your question

And yes,do it daily in the shower, while shampooing, for atleast 5 minutes going in small circles around the head.

Also make sure you are getting enough protein in your diet, hair is made up of protein/keratin,and add a multi vitamin every day, hair grows from the INSIDE of your body, not the outside, good nutrition/vitamins=healthier hair growth.

Massaging your scalp will not guarantee that your hair will grow faster, but it does help a lot. I usually do it in the shower or even combing or doing it with your fingers outside the shower works. When you massage your scalp you are stimulating the pores so it helps them get/be active so the hair can grow.

All of your questions, up to this point, has to do with making your hair grow back long or faster. No, cutting split ends and massaging your scalp will not help.

How did your hair become so damaged with split ends? The damage is what's keeping you at a shorter length. If you stop damaging your hair and stop the breakage then you can grow longer hair. This will be harder if you have a relaxer because relaxers have strong chemicals that weaken your hair and even if you take good care of it the chemicals will eventually take a toll and break off your hair.

If you want your hair to grow back then start practicing healthy hair care. That's the only way. You have to be patient and stop doing things that break off and damage your hair. It doesn't matter how fast your hair grows if all it's doing is breaking off; hair that's breaking isn't going to grow longer. Good luck.

http://forum.blackhaircareforum.com
http://www.longhaircareforum.com
http://www.motowngirl.com
