Just wondering has anyone ever been blackmailed or video tapped or anything in that line but a masseuse or a Parlour, does anyone ever worry about it. or is it just me thats paranoid.

I remember once getting a lapdance at my bachelor party and at one point the girl said, look in the mirror. So I looked in the mirror and then she said, that makes some picture doesn't it?
I guess I agreed and then she asked, "would you pay for it?".
I'm pretty sure she mean't providing extra service but at the time, I got spooked like it was some sort of blackmail.

I'm pretty sure that MPs are tolerated in this city by LE unless there are suspicions that the operators are not paying the MPs fair wages. (or any wages).
I haven't read about any places being busted lately either.

But, if you're worried about this, it's best to steer clear.

Everytime you set foot in an MP you're taking a risk. I definitely have my suspicions, but I'm willing to take that risk. Discretion is the grease that keeps this industry running. A couple scandals could cripple this very profitable industry. I agree with Andreww770 and pepe_ronny that you should stay clear, because it seems you have too much to lose.

Got a unpleasant visit about a year after I started hobbying from a sheriff in a poudunk county I was visiting in Florida in the 90s. I laugh thinking about it now.

If it's that much of an issue to you, quit. Hell, I've told just about all of my family, friends and business associates. Funny thing is if you act like it's nothing, they pretty much think it's funny given all of the sex scandals in politics. You might find it's quite trendy, as my friends all ask if I've been to Montreal lately.

Busted: no. MP are legal so the chances of getting busted are very small, even in a MP that the LE happens to have in sigh because they suspect it of hiring minors, having dope inside or being linked to organized crime: you would have to be there at the exact moment of the bust. If you stick to the well known and well reviewed MP, and there are many, your chances are almost nil.

Video tapped: no. Unless you believe the funny reports about video cameras in the rooms of MP and all the fabricated stories about them (some of them on this forum, none ever proven with credible facts), there is no reason to be scared about that.

Blackmailed: nyes. Some indys (both sp and mp) have what you can call politely strong personalities and/or develop for obvious reasons, strategies to defend themselves. When they feel insecure, some tend to take extreme preemptive measures like telling you they can reach your employer or your wife. It happened to me once in the past after a forum disagreement (not linked to any any client-sp relation, i was not a client of her) with one of them. She did not act and probably never had the intent to do so.

Blackmail problems are unpredictable but very rare: it is a too dangerous game to play, far more dangerous then simply reporting the issue to LE if they are trying to protect themselves against dangerous clients.

I have never heard of anyone that has been blackmailed by a SP or MP. I would imagine if the proverbial shit did hit the fan that someone has been blackmailed the hobby clientèle would be cut in half immediately. It would take a long time to fully recover.

I think it is easy to say, but fact of the matter is that probably most or maybe half of you guys have jobs and GF's or wives, so what i am risking is not much different. But also as you know once you get a taste of the hobby quitting is much easier said than done, there must be somthing in the middle.

Thanks 10-4, but these 2 events seems pretty real and close by, may be they are more strict in ontario than Quebec, but what does the law say in regards to MP's anyway!!

My understanding of QC law is that there is no problem unless the MP works in a public place (spa/salon) which offers FS then it falls into the catagory of a "bawdy house". It then usually takes a complaint before LE would proceed with a raid.

No, not correct. Guido made 3 errors:

1 a spa/salon is not a public place

2 the critical law about MPs is not a provincial law but the criminal code. That's a federal jurisdiction.

3 while it is usually the case, it does not necessarily take a complaint for LE to bust a MP. It could be the consequence of an investigation regarding , for example, the activities of street gangs and other criminal organizations.


General laws of Québec apply to the MPs as to every business, but I don t think there are any specific provincial law about massage parlors in Québec.

A few municipalities have specific regulations about MPs.

If you get caught as a client in a bust, it is the criminal code that applies to you.

At least you won't be given a beating or have your boots filled with ice water to go out into the cold with, which would be your fate if you were found receiving a massage in a rail yard and failed to offer the CN cop a bribe.
