Here in Monterrey, Amnesia is a 5 star club, top of the line and Casino is a moderate level club.

Girl tells me that she would earn anything from 10,000 pesos to 15,000 pesos DAILY at said club.

And write down this: NO SEX. Just drinks and private dances.

Let's make it 10k pesos 5 days a week.
That would be 50,000 pesos a week, or 200,000 pesos a month.

You know what? For the same reasons I don't believe that you get the idea of how much a girl earns in TJ, I did not believe for a second this girl could earn 50,000 pesos per week.

It's all proportional moneywise, I don't believe any of the girls earn tons of money and still if they do, whatever they get, they spend or waste cause they do not know how to save.

I'm sure it is possible for a BG at a popular club like AB to make good money. But, $2,000 a week? let's do the math:

The typical girl at AB charges $60 per date. The typical date lasts 25-45 minutes. If a girl could do 10 dates in a single weekend night then she would be very busy. But, I think anyone who has been in these clubs a few times and paid attention knows that 10 dates a night is not impossible. More than 10 starts to become just plain unrealistic.

10 dates x $60 equals $600, per night. If a girl could do this type of business a few nights a week then $2,000 a week is not unrealistic. But, this is the high end of realistic. Most BGs are probably doing half of that number.

FB, AmigoMio can answer for himself, but he's taken me to the working class bars of Monterrey several times. The kind of bars where all the guys working there and all the girls know him -- like Norm from Cheers. If we go to a high end place it is during lunch for the buffet and then, most of the time, I can only afford to look at the girls.

The Zona Norte bars fall well into the types of places Amigo frequents. However, because TJ is right on the border, it is different because of the huge numbers of gringos that frequent the place. I think that is what makes the difference. Things like tipping the dancers a dollar just doesn't happen away from the border (or beach resorts with lots of gringos).

I love going to Monterrey but I also love going to Tijuana. They are both great mongering destinations but they are not the same. AB is all about the arriba. Hong Kong is a US-styled strip club but allows contact with the dancers and you can take almost all of them upstairs. In MTY at places like Infinito you can have sex in the semi-privados for 300 pesos with a hot young thing. Or you can pay a salida fee to the bar and then pay the girl more for time in your hotel. Both cities offer the monger great opportunities to coger beautiful Mexican women.

Regarding the scams at Hong Kong. Maybe it is just my hardened monger disposition but the meseros never try that kind of crap like the cubeta or chip scam with me. I will tip the meseros well and they know they'll make more money in the long run from me in tips for good service and trying to sell me an overpriced bag of Doritos. I'm sure that might work with the n00b customers at HK, but those that are fleeced by this scam probably get scammed in their hometowns too.

AmigoMio, you must get on that vivaaerbus or volaris flight to Tijuana to get first hand experience on HK and AB. It mixes the gringo-oriented notion of a strip club but is set in Mexico so the prudishness of the US isn't around. Hong Kong is professionally run with the management knowing that the entertainment can't stop or people will leave. The floormen and women have radios and are making sure there's great talent on the mainseforum.xxxes and if someone takes down a girl dancing on the bar or smaller seforum.xxxes that she's replaced quickly so there's never an empty space. Even on slow nights.

You would be surprised by the amount of money the mostly gringo crowd at Hong Kong will shower on a girl on the seforum.xxxe. And the girls that do the lesbian creme shows get more. I agree Hong Kong ins't 'high end' in the traditional sense -- especially compared to the places with large cover charges, expensive drinks for you and the girls, girls that want $300 for time in the room and VIP rooms that offer no sex -- but for zona norte it is pretty nice.

But if you ask me, Los Cabos doesn't even feel like Mexico as it's more like Marina Del Rey in Los Angeles by the beech.

Tijuana isn't a tourist trap, it's a working mans jungle where we get pussy cheap. Now since TJ is so close to the border, TJ still gets plenty of guys who make lot of money, but rarely will these guys pay top dollar for pussy. Besides we have the escorts services for that, and they at least try to guarantee you'll get GFE service.

In my opinion TJ will never go above the price of $100 dollars for pussy, especially now with the recession in full swing still, and people still are unemployed. However, I don't blame the bars from trying to pick up a few extra bucks, because there are a awful lot of cheap mongers around who won't give the bars their due. it's been descrived to me by several mongers from other forums.

Good call. HK girls reflect the trend all over Mexico that TJ lacked but it seems that it is finally catching on: the House must make the money, not the girls.

This is very true now that the clubs are owned, controlled or are paying the narcs for protection, they must make more money to pay their quotas and being this, they don't care if the girls make or don't make money, they must make their clubs more atractive to the customers so they will spend more on gimmicks and less on the girls.

Lets see If I can help describe Hong Kong for Amigomio.

In TJ Hong Kong is considered one of the higher end clubs. Adelitas has been the most popular Gringo oriented clubs in the past years.There are Mexicans in AB, and HK but their market seems to be gringos, and Mexican-Americans. Both bars play softer Mexican music, that most Americans can get into. Hong Kong is also a strip club, with plenty of girls always dancing for money, and when it's their turn to dance can pull down $10 to $60 dollar even more.

With dancing, private room, and drinking many of these girls don't even go upstairs.

Hong Kong is now giving Adelitas a run for it's money as the Chicago club faded years ago, and is barely hanging on. These bars are usually packed Thursday through Sunday, except now I'd say just the weekend really packed that in Hong Kong you don't get in unless you buy a beer at the door for $3 dollars.( the other days use to be pretty good too, but now it's slow Monday, Tuesday, and starts to pickup on Weds, Thursdays is pretty good, Sunday is busy during the day to early evening and then it dropped off.

These bars cater to dollars, but will accept pesos. Hong Kong will rip you with the exchange rate that it's not really worth it trying to use pesos.

Hong Kong is the highest asking bar in the zona during night time the girls ask for $80 dollars.( some even try to ask for $100 US dollars,) but They don't always get it, but that's what they ask for, and many times get it. Mongers using pesos hasn't really caught on, but it was starting to when the exchange rate was really good, but I'd say only a small percent of mongers will counter offer for 600 or 800 pesos, but a few will at $60 dollars. At AB you just have to walk up to a girl, and ask how much? She'll give a quote like $70 dollars, and you say $60 and it's off you go. ( if you bargain you can get it for $50 dollars or 600 pesos)

I have no doubt the top tier girls can bring home lots of money, but like you said it's doubtful many keep it. But right now $2000 a night seems high, as Hong Kong chicas don't seem to go upstairs as much as AB chicas do. But Hong Kong chicas have more ways they can make money.

We had guys count how many times chicas go upstairs at AB, and I think the count has been as high as 10 times in a few hours of watching, of course it's a little slower now. ( not as many girls, and not as many mongers, but still plenty)

Girls at high end clubs and I mean HIGH END clubs, not clubs like the ones at La Zona, can earn 5000 pesos per night, maybe more and I emphasize CAN cause it is not a constant for all the girls and it is not on a daily basis.

Yes, some girls, not all (no more than 10% maybe less) can earn tons of money one night and then spend a week of zero income.

I've seen it, if you spend enough time at the clubs you'll see it too.
You'll see that the girls might just be sitting around earning nothing or the other way around, they might be getting so much attention they will not even blink at you.

There is another factor, that the money the girls earn by sunrise will be gone in many ways, like money flying into padrotes, novios, debts, tandas, family, etc.
Also, believe it or not almost 100% of the girls have no bank accounts where to save their money.

Editor’s Note: The price of health cards required for sex workers in Tijuana has increased in what observers say is a “scandalous” and “immoral” setback in the fight against HIV.

TIJUANA, Mexico – Like thousands of women, Veronica Lizarraga, 18, migrated from the interior of Mexico to Tijuana, where she joined the ranks of the city's prostitutes. She picks up customers as an erotic dancer at Hong Kong, one of the more sophisticated strip clubs in the border town’s red light district. Her average weekly earnings: $2,000.

With modern architecture and neon lights, this business employs more than 300 dancers. Most of its customers are foreigners, men from southern California looking for fun and sex that's cheaper than in their country.

In order to work at Hong Kong, Veronica and her colleagues are required to have a health ID card that the local government issues to sex workers. Each month they undergo a series of medical tests for sexually transmitted infections and every four months, for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). If all goes well, the city’s Department of Health Control renews their cards.

"Without it (the health card) you can’t work here," said Veronica, originally from Mazatlan, Sinaloa.

Earlier this year, health authorities in Tijuana announced a price increase in the medical tests required for sex workers. The annual fee rose from $300 to $500.

This news doesn’t worry high-income sex workers like Veronica. But the price increase has had a much greater impact on street sex workers who earn much less, according to Victor Clark Alfaro, director of Tijuana’s Binational Human Rights Center.

Clark Alfaro called the price increase "immoral and scandalous." One of its serious consequences, he said, is that "many [sex workers] are going to choose not to go to the doctor."
