Ozskin. Yes, I may sound self-righteous. I realized something from being in LOS. That I can't go on living that way...paying for sex. That would be true weather all my goals or whatever have been accomplished. I also realized that it is very addicting. Hell, 1500Tb to have sex with these gorgeous Thai babes. I pay more than that in the US just to take a girl to dinner and don't get laid. But that's also to be with someone that may have real potential to be my wife. So, there's really no comparison. how can ahyes say about putting the money to something better?surely if you are paying for something you enjoy then that is good enough in its self.i have a 40k pound a year job,in the process of buying a house and have a decent sporty motor,plus with my job perks i get to fly around the world for next to nothing,and the amount of time i get off work allows me to have 3-4 holidays of 3-4 weeks each.i couldnt be happier.well i could but i aint gonna win the lottery.
i am addicted to los i admit it,i have met some good friends other there,both locals and from this board and i am glad i met them.without going there i would never of met them.i sit here and think would i rather save the money i spent there to improve my life here,and i cannot think why i would do that.i am happy with my life,and that is the main thing.be happy with your life,do what makes you happy.try everything once.you can never regret what you didnt do.
do i want to bring a tg over here???the answer is no.if i wanted to settle down with one i would move there.but,i dont intend settling down for a fair few years yet,i am only 31,and living the life i wished i was living when i was 21.
i am happy as i could wish for,and dont regret anything about thailand at all,the only thing i probably regret is i cant get there even more than i already do.
ahyes,you have done what i did first trip,fell hook line and sinker for the bg talk,she made you feel exactly how she wanted you to feel,to get what she wanted.£££.you have come home infatuated and missing her,everyone probably experiences that,but its how you put it into perspective.it gets a lot easier with repeat trips,you be accustomed to "the game".it took me a while to learn that,but many people from this board put things into perspective for me.now i go away come back,have a few days where i wish i was still there and thats it.i now look forward to the next trip,i dont really think how long is left,just how good a time i am gonna have and i look forward to meeting up with friends again.

I think ultimately all of us want the same thing, it’s just that our perceptions regarding the ideal life are different. All relationships whether in love, friend, or business are basically a trade. You got something I want, I’ll give you something you want. It’s all about compromise. True, what we want cannot come true if we are either unable or unwilling to make the necessary sacrifices, more so if you’re already married or committed in another relationship. But there are those who are able and have the ability to make these fantasies happen and only our fear of failure can stop them from being fulfilled.

MikeGB expresses my sentiments exactly. You only go around once in life. Opportunities like this don't come along every day. The kind of abilities that have made you successful in your work are quite applicable to other positions as well. You are young, intelligent, and have the ability to get along with people and interact successfully with people. And you are not afraid to go find where the work is, ask for what you want, and represent yourself to other people. A person like yourself can always find out where the opportunity lies, and knows how to knock on that door, and what to say when it is opened. The fact that you would live on your unemployment, and not spend your severance pay shows that you know the score.

This is what I would tell you in any case, even if I knew less about you. But knowing what you have told me about your neck, and about the stress of your losses of your brother and mother, this makes my advice to you a "no-brainer," if you know what I mean. Specifically, the stress of your job, and your recent sorrows have almost surely contributed to your neck problem. To push further and add to all of that 3 hours of commuting every day would be inviting trouble. IMHO, it would be playing with fire, and if you got burnt, well, one neck surgery is already one too many. Why wait until you need another. Take action now. You don't need more money. The lay-off from your company is a great blessing, since you can live for a year without work or worry and still have your severance to back you when you return, or to invest were you to find the right opportunity.

Go and heal yourself. Relax and allow your body to heal itself. Open your eyes and they might see the ones who can help you. LOS is a good place for relaxation and healing. That is what you need. It is more than any doctor can ever do once the damage is done. You know what I think about that. Need I say more?
