Flat Irons of Your Choice + Sprays? -Newbie-?

So. I'm a 14yo male. I straighten my hair. After 14 years of having ridiculously curly hair, I've grown attatched to straightening my hair. It's so much easier.
As some of you may know, there's a youtuber named Dudeneedaeaseonup (Dude needa ease on up) who straightens his hair and has naturally curly hair that's SLIGHTLY less curly than mine.
I emailed him a few days ago asking what flat iron he uses and any products because his hair looks amazingggg. http://www.dudeneedaeaseonup.com/hi.jpg

I was just wondering if any of you either
A) Know what flat iron he uses and what sprays or things of that nature
B) Could recommend me some flat irons and sprays and whatnot that aren't TOO expensive based on your own personal uses.

I have VERY thick, VERY curly hair.
Price is not that much of an object. I would not like to spend too close to 100, but we'll see when it comes to it.
I've heard that Farouk CHI's are EXTREMELY good. I was thinking about this one

P.S. I currently use a ConAir Infiniti that's about 5 years old and is a total piece of crap. . But no products. This is why I need recommendations on both products and flat irons!
I'll deffs get the CHI 44 Iron Guard thing and the Nexxus Maxximum finishing spray.

Has anyone heard of the "BaByliss BABTT4073 Tourmaline Titanium Straightener?"
It's supposed to include steam and condition your hair as well. I've heard great things about BaByliss products from this question and great things about steam straighteners, so I think I'll go with this.

& its a piece of sh*t. We find that using Curling Irons is better for straightening hair. i know it sounds funny but curling irons usually get hotter then straight irons. Also before you straighten your hair spray it with

CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray

& after you you finish straightening use this

i know it sounds weird for a guy to be looking at a site for women but they have reviews on styling products and styling tools although you have to make an account.
something that i would consider buying:
-tressemme heat tamer spray (4-6 dollars)
-chi iron guard & silk infusion (they're kind of pricey though, small bottle's like 8 dollars and bigger one is like 15+?)
-paul mitchell super skinny serum (makes your hair soft, about 15+ dollars)
-garnier sleek and shine ( basically does the same thing as paul mitchell but it's a hell of alot cheaper, 5-7 dollars?)
i've also heard that babyliss or something like that has AMAZING flat irons as well as ghd.

seriously, just take a deep breath, make an account of makeupalley and it's going to make your likfe MUCH easier.
just click on product reviews, click the box with the arrow for more selections, scroll down until you see hair-styling products (whatever else you need) and go a bit farther to styling tools.
you don't have to pay and i'm not trying to spread the site around, it has some really handy reviews there.
