Getting the doc to give an unlimited perscription for ED meds

My apologies if there was any offense taken because there was no offense meant. I did not make any assumptions; it was simply a question. No, I am pretty sure that I am not gay. I really like women. Some of the TVs sure look good to me -- some look better than many women -- however, I have never partaken and don't really think I ever will. In no way am I trying to disparage those that do. I just found it a bit odd that a guy in his 20's was having equipment malfunctions. But I certainly do understand the part about the chicas not being into it being a turn-off for you. The best chicas, in my humble opinion, are also good at acting as well as good at sex.

I used "generic-pharmacy.net" and it worked for me. I saw it had pretty good reviews on the internet and they been around for a long time.( I saw a few bad reviews too, but that's expected on those types of sites) I also noticed another monger on another site used them too.

But it also appears they underwent new ownership or something?

I got a order number when I put it in, but didn't get confirmation in my email.

Like I said when my credit card received the bill they automatically canceled the transactions or so they said, but I saw it in my bill later the following week. ( I had to call my credit card company and ask them what's going on?)

So I emailed the pharmacy no response back. Finally I called them, and the phone just dropped off. After my second call, and answered me and did tell me my order was on it's way.. it came in a little white envelope from India with my regular mail, but it did take at least 10 days.

Thanks for the tips Fireballs... I always thought "online pharamasies" were just scams, espeically with all that spam mail.

But you can attest to some? Do you have a URL to those stores?

The thing with me and sex is if the girl isn't into it as much as I am, I get turned off. In other words, I will start off with an erection and be really into it, but if I sense the girl is "off" for whatever reason, my mojo stops too.

I don't really care why, I don't care for psychologists or any of that crap. I am just glad modern medicine has created the ultimate mojo pill.

So i have no shame in taking Levitra. But I am pissed doctors and insurance companies try to make you feel ashamed for using them.

As for me and my doctor, I think I will just write him an email telling him:

"I can't maintain a great erection without Levitra and I'd like to have it without prescription limits, so I know it is there. Some nights I am fine, others I find that I do need it and it is helping me overcome many issues that I have kept on the back burner for years."​

I hope he understands, if not, I guess there are the online pharmacies. As for buying it in TJ.. no fucking way. I don't want to buy any controlled substance down there, especially with that drug war waging. For TJ, it is the brothels and the brothels only...

I would tend to agree with Gmbrldx if a young adult in reasonable good heath and doesn't have any medical issues. Then I would look at possible psychology conditions like a fetish or even unconscious/ conscious same sex urges he may be missing out on, or perhaps it has to do with him just fucking a prostitute and old religious convictions that cause him to lose steam?

Doctors usually the first time only give you one prescriptions with perhaps one refill so he could see how you react to the medicine and possibly adjust the dosage. The pharmacy can usually call for you and at least get you one more refill. On the next trip the doctor may give you more refills. ( some doctors are real tight)

Sometimes insurances won't cover ED medicine. I have two insurances and my doctor gave me a prescription of Viagra, but only one insurance covers it, and they only give me four pills a month! And it still cost me about $10 dollar a pill, but without the insurance it's about $20 dollar a pill. ( what my doctor didn't do was say it's medically necessarily and then I think my other insurance would have covered it cheaper too.

It's cheaper that I get it in TJ, although in TJ I buy Levitra 20 for about $12 dollars a pill.

The first time my US doctor gave me 50mg of Viagra, but on my next visit I told her to give me 100 mg of Viagra, and I'll just cut them in half and make two 50 mg pills out of them. ( I live Levitra better than Viagra but Viagra is easier to cut in half...so in the US I use Viagra)

I also recently tried the online pharmacies and it turns out the pharmacy is in India. After getting hassled by my credit card company I did get the generic Viagra in the mail about 10 day later. The pills cost about $6 dollars each for 10 pills of 100mg of Viagra, and the pills worked just fine although they were harder to cut in half. Next time I'll buy more and when you buy 30 to 60 pills you can bring down the cost of generic Viagra to about $2 dollars a pill.

It's a very good deal, but I still rather use the real Viagra in the US, or even the ones in Mexico, but you can't beat the price of the online pharmacies.

Heh, you aren't in the medical profession, so maybe its best if you don't make assumptions and "ask" if people are gay. Its a little offensive. Maybe you are gay though?

I use the ED meds as insurance in case I'm having a bad day. I'd rather not pay $60 only to have a shitty erection.

And Kaiser does pay 50% with my plan, so I would prefer their system. So if I pay about $5/dose of Levitra, I consider that a great insurance from a bad erection day.

$65 for guaranteed great sex is always better than $60 for possibly bad sex.

Does Kaiser cover your meds? If so, then I guess pestering him for the meds makes sense. If not, why not just buy them as you need them when you visit TJ? Buy what you need in a pharmacy and eat it before you leave the pharmacy.

Sorry to hear about your condition in your mid-20's. Bummer, bummer. You say that you are "healthy" but that doesn't seem healthy to me. (BIG Disclaimer: I am not in the medical profession!) You sure you don't have diabetes? Maybe you are gay? Do guys get your tool going? (Hey, it could be the case! They don't do a thing for me but to each, their own. You know: Live and let live and all that sort of thing.)

Sorry to get off on a tangent. Best wishes for your doc to come around to your point of view.

P.S. Somewhere Burt did a long discussion on the three ED drugs, Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis. Do a search on this and other TJ-related forums and you will find it. It is very thorough. As I remember, he liked Levitra the best.

My doctor gave me a measly 2 bottle prescription for Levitra. I've been rationing it, but I'd like him to just give me an unlimited dose, so I can buy them as needed.

I already sent my doc a long email* a few weeks ago, telling him my dick doesn't stay hard consistently and its fucking up my love life. I think he thinks I am exaggerating or just wanting to score "drugs" since I am in my mid-twenties and "healthy".

In reality, my dick isn't the steel rod of glory that is up on command. It does go down.

I am wondering, as a young man and otherwise healthy, how I can plead to my doc my case can lift my restrictions on ED meds?

The second thing... I'd like to try Viagra as well, not just Levitra. Not sure how it will sound if I ask my doc for that as well.
