Grande Fiesta, June 23, La Tropa Patio benefit for orphans

Had another party last night, and a few guys from this site stopped by. I am embarassed to say, I don't remember who, just that they asked if this was a mpnet party....now I see that I didn't even post about the party, so maybe they were going to last weeks party....all the same it was nice you guys could stop by.

Sorry boys , was away from Internet for over a week.

But anyway yes that was my real wife, been married for 6 years and together for 7. We both live here in TJ. And no she was not a working girl ,yet her sister was(half-sister). We met through her sister one night and found out she had a twin(my wife) Yeahoo!!!!!! But to cut to the chase , my wife had a boyfriend at the time and they were setting me up with the sister, u know the ol US and papers gig. But I was not having any of that. And later fell in love with my wife and convinced her to leave her boyfriend. And no papers were never a consideration, in fact still to this day she does not have papers. So yes I think that it may very well be true love, Hell I hope so, I am married to her now.

But she knows about the whole Zona Norte scene, because of her sister. Yet we sometimes go together to the clubs just to have a few laughs, and for her to see what I like and stuff. She is very open minded, and smart(she is a paralegal in TJ).

The only problem that I had that night was I invited a friend to come to the party , but he screwed it up for me and let the cat out of the bag about the party. So my wife was upset that I was hiding it from her.(For those that may have thought things might have been "off" with us.)

But after meeting some people and having some laughs , we then went and did some Karoke at some puto(gay) bar around the corner from there, stayed out late (well for me anyway). Way to drunk.

And yes I do believe ol' sampson may have had ideas to get my wife on the payroll. lol.


For those wondering, we are not swingers nor do we cheat on each other, I am not gay nor is she. We go to all clubs, country western , rave type, gay , stripper, it does not matter to us. More importantly we enjoy each others company more the the surroundings. BTW I suck at Karoke. But $1 ice cold coronas(which is hard to find in TJ anymore)


Will get to other stories later about opinions of what WE thought of everything , wife is calling for me and my little friend.

Oh Fireballs, you are loved. An to think there was only two shirts that were unsold. I don't want to ruin Padre's stories, but I think he and his nice bride have 6 or 7 years....I tried to make her apologize to him, but got nowhere with her. Seems she wasn't so convinced that he wanted to go to an orphan fund raiser in Zona Norte.

I would be careful around Sampson, he might try to recruit your wife for part-time work, and these is another old fucker that hangs out at those parties who likes doing other guy's wives, and is ok with the guy watching him get it on with his wife. I would suggest staying away from these guys.

I'm shocked to hear one of the items they were selling or offering as a prize were T-shirts under my old handle on TJA, saying the equivalent of FUCK FIREBALLS on the T-shirt but using my old handle! I'm so hurt, here I was thinking I was loved on these sites?

Nice to meet you Padre...your wife is a tough cookie...I thought I could get her to apologize, but she was having none of it....Larry also made it from this site along with Country John, and maybe others I don't recall. Had close to 50 guests and lots of new faces, which is always nice.

And I was all in good spirits on going. Now I will just fell guilty and hang my head and "drag" myself to this event. After I rethink my agenda of course. Personally I too was going to get a chance to really get to know some of the guys(not mongers in my mind) and yes the free beer is great.

Because I may not contribute as much as others, as I should since I live here in TJ, this was going to be a great chance to share my exploits. Because I am not Mark Twain, I can not tell very good stories, to which I can get to share in person.

I won't be attending the fiesta this time around. There a few mongers I would like to meet, but sadly there are many more I rather not meet, or I met before and don't want to be around.....these guys are mainly from other sites whose passions for mongering has taken their soul, it's all they live for as Tijuana has become a roach motel for them, ' they could come in, but they can never leave.

The cause is a good one, but over the years it has gotten to commercialized where it seems everybody has their own agenda for the affair, and the orphans are a after thought to people promoting their agenda, or others showing how thoughtful they could be for one day, but what about the rest of the time?

If you haven't been to a fiesta before I encourage you to go at least once. It's fun putting a face to a handle. I have in the past met two guys I bashed and flamed the hell out of, but when I met them there were no hard feelings, just laughs, and the free beer is always nice.

The fiesta will begin at 7:30..it is a pretty good bet that I will be there at 7...and at least until 10 for the drawing. If you want to bring an item to donate for the raffle that would be cool. You can of course donate at the party and no donation is necessary to attend.

It appears that in addition to free beer there will be carne asada as well. At this time, Tequilla bottles and Viva Mex Massages are in the raffle...We are awaiting other raffle items, and if anyone has an item to donate for the raffle, please pm me.

This right here is an amazing thing you are doing for some very deserving people. I wish i could participate as i would make the trip to come down and visit for sure, but with that weekend taken by visiting family i cannot. But i would like to know if you have a email list for future notifications and or an address to accept donations or items for raffle or donation to the children? This sounds like something i would really like to get involved in and participate with into the future.

I am happy to announce the next orphanage fundraiser to be held on Saturday June 23rd at 7:30 pm at the patio directly behind La Tropa Bar. This time of year is excellent for an outdoor party and La Tropa offers a nice patio. New manager Pancho, is a long time friend of mine, and is excited about the opportunity to host a party with so many Americans.

The fiesta committee has already locked in FREE BEER for the evening, and we plan to do a raffle, but I will not be providing escorts for the raffle this time. I think with all the recent developments I should refrain for awhile in providing that contribution. I am visiting with people about possible items to be donated, and will make that information available as it becomes available. If you have any item to donate for the raffle pm me or Amo even if it is a gag gift as it is fun to give away many items. Last party we gave away about 10 bottles of Tequila and other alcohol thanks to some generous mongers.

I want to encourage everyone to attend regardless of your newbie/lurker/platinum amigo status. We enjoy meeting new people and often lurkers become posters after attending these events. Everyone is welcome, and you can bring a no board member friend if you like or a chica from the street, other bar or your work...(we are not too discriminating about these parties)

For any that do not know the history of the Internet message boards and the orphanage I will give you the Reader's Digest version. My good friend Amo has visited this orphanage for numerous years and when he asked the mongering community to help him support the kids in 2002, I contacted him about teaming up as I was already organizing fiestas. The first Xmas fiesta brought in 63 gifts and 5 bikes for the 13 kids and it has grown since. Many different board members have participated, and we are always looking to add to our fiesta committee. In past years we have paid school tuition, uniforms and supplies for their schooling. A custom made wheel chair was bought for one young boy, and a playground combination monkey bar, slide, and swing set was actually purchased and constructed by about 10 guys from this board. It is a project I have always enjoyed being a part of, and hope to continue to support as long as I am living in Tijuana or a surrounding city.

You need not bring anything, and just come in and make yourself at home. I try real hard to meet and greet everyone, so if I don't find you feel free to ask for me. Some guys like not to mention their handles, and so please understand that. We are a very diverse group with at least one thing in common. Some long time friendships have been made over the years, and even guys that but heads on their posts have been seen hugging and laughing with each other at these events. Please remember it is for the kids and this one in particular is to help raise money for their next school year tuition, uniforms and supplies. We have about $2500 left in the bank after the Xmas fiesta so we have a good start. Hope to see you all there.
