Massage parlour cleared after shot

VAUGHAN -- Heavily armed tactical officers cleared out a massage parlour yesterday after a man armed with a handgun allegedly stormed in to confront his girlfriend.

York Regional Police were called to the Steeles Ave. parlour west of Jane St. at 2:36 p.m. about a gunshot fired by a man with a friend.

Tactical teams stormed the industrial mall unit and removed four people. Two others, including the gunman's girlfriend, walked out.

Sgt. Rob Shaw said no one was injured and the report of a gunshot had not been confirmed. The gunman's still at large.
