Headache and neck pain after a massage?

I had a sore shoulder so I got a massage on Sunday night. Shoulder feels great now, but the massage was very rough around my neck and now ive had neck issues for the last three days.

I have a pea sized lump on the left side of my neck, 3 inches below the skull and about 2 inches to the left of my spine. It was not there before the massage. Every morning I have woken up I have had a sore neck and bad headaches. Taking advil helps a lot but I am concerned about this happening long term.

Does anyone know what this could be or how to treat this?
