I have been to Cancun several times.The tourist area is over priced and a rip off!!(Mexicans don't pay those prices!)There are quite a few local mexican lady bars in the City of Cancun (away from the tourist area)Quality varys from 1-8 ,but you will probably be the only Gringo in the house.If you speak spanish and befriend a local or taxi driver you can find some jewels in the rough.There are some very,very affordable lady bars thoughout the whole country of Mexico. As long as you are adventurous,street wise and treat the locals with respect,you will not have any problems and have a great experience!! This report goes for every area in Mexico,in or near every major city or tourist area there is a "zona roja"(RED ZONE)where the locals go for the ladies.

I've been there twice now. Never had to p4p - the resorts and bars are loaded with girls who are there for sun and sex. Go for the euro girls. Good ways to meet them would be to take a tour to chichen or the like and monger that way.

I've been to Cancun 7 times now and have never really had any luck with the local prostitutes. It's such a big tourist area that they ask USD prices.
