Hi All,
Long time reader, first-time poster. I am relatively new to this and have tried a few places so, I thought I would share my experiences in no particular order. Originally I was going to separate them out to individual posts but I thought that might be more spamming. The reviews are based on my own experiences, I welcome/appreciate suggestions and discussions. Here we go!
Coco (sp?) at Comfort Oasis - I had read about it and wanted to see what it was about. I felt a bit strong-armed as (at the time) I wasn't more forceful to ask about others who were there (or simply I just believed Coco when she said she was the only one there at the time). There's no way around the fact that she's older but her massage was decent, and I assumed a lot of other things are available but I just wasn't feeling it (it's your hard-earned money, you are able to choose where, when, and how you spend it). The plus: they have an interac machine and don't charge extra fees for using interac.
(Forgotten, maybe Linda?) at Xiaoping - Again, this is a much-discussed spa, it feels like a place that ought to be in Chinatown (like Vancouver or Toronto's Chinatown). I say that because if you stumbled or suddenly walked into it without knowing what you were walking into, you would just assumed it was some "legitimate" asian place. I had the massage, I experienced the "oil" (they were using more of it than I had ever experienced before), massage was good, some teasing, did the DIY. Would I go back? Maybe, if they changed the default oil? I'm not sure, I actually don't like how close they are to the asian massage parlour but that's my opinion.
Leah at Le Spa - I had a kink in my back and she worked it out really well. Honestly, the way they post their ads and the way the place looks (single door, blinds, neon sign) makes you think there's a possibility of extras. All I got (from multiple visits) was a good massage (almost at the level of Cherry: I know, but hey, she worked hard on my knots and helped). The inside is extremely clean, they have an interac machine and anyone inside there would assume (rightly) that it's a legitimate.
Jessie at Le Spa - this was a suggestion from whoever I was talking to (perhaps Leah)? The massage was ok, not great, but not worth returning for. Originally I was suggested to go with Kira but I never was able to have the same schedule.
Cherry (West End) - Her massage techniques are really good. She worked out my knots and I felt very relaxed from a muscle point of view. As a stranger, I had to go a few times (twice) before we got used to each other and was asked about the HE (which was good). Really liked the fact that it was private residence, she has a shower that you can use, and easy to drive to. People have mentioned/written that she's a bit on the pricier side of things, it is, but it's not super expensive as the massage itself is really good and on par with decent legit RMTs ($80/hr), it's the extras that are slightly expensive ($60), but then again it's not THAT much more expensive.
Daisy at Labella - I had read some good things about Daisy and thought I would try her out. She looks young-ish and has a very cheerful disposition when you first meet with her. The massages are good but the teases was amazing, I would go so far as to say the tease is more intense than Sunny's (don't hurt me, I'm a new poster). Early on, she asks you if you want a massage or a tease (why not both?) Yes, I was on my front for the majority of the time, but that didn't matter (there was a lot of reaching, stretching, and holding). On the flip, HE was offered/accepted. One of my highlight massages of 2016. The partition door walls are thin, and there was some talking back and forth but as a massage/extra combo, I feel that it's a really high value. Will repeat. I haven't had a chance to see Mia or Vanessa but my first impulse is to see Daisy a few more times before others.
Eling at Labella - This was a last-minute decision and probably a reason for why I felt no connection during the massage. She has really good hands that can dig deep and that helped alleviate some of my tensions. Literally did not feel it and even though an extra was offered, I (politely?) declined. I think that might have thrown us both off as sometimes physiologically the signs were there, but I said "no thank you" before I even realized I had said it. Maybe I just had an off-day, didn't feel it, the massage was ok. I guess I was hoping to see others.
Angela (SongBlossom) - Back when they first opened and a lot of people were asking about them I decided to go and check it out. I thought it was a legitimate spa when I drove by (sort of like Le Spa) however, the moment I walked upstairs and into the (dark) lobby I suddenly realized that this was more than a legitimate spa (my heart raced, sort of like finding a hidden secret). A young-ish Angela massaged me and worked on my back with a bit of teasing, and because I thought it was legit, I was not fully undraped which Angela helped fixed that quickly (thus confirming that I had "found" the non-legit side of things), some teasing was done, (expensive in mind) HE was offered. The total cost of everything for 45min+HE was $110. Go back? maybe, but probably not, I would go to SongBlossom before going to Comfort Oasis.
Sunny (The real/original one) - Not sure where to start, Sunny is absolutely professional and great. The building she's in is perfect, and really accessible. The massage is good-to-great, and the extras (HE) are also really great. I think what I didn't realize until Sunny, was just how good the build-up could be. If you have a good connection, it seems like she takes teasing to a whole new level that I didn't experience previously with others. So it's the tease-massage-extra combo that makes Sunny a worthwhile visit. I would gladly go back.
If you are new, I would suggest trying Sunny or Daisy but then again you're free to choose whatever you want.
