How can I introduce a new puppy to our dog?

We're getting a Border collie puppy and we already have a dog, Griffin, our miniature schnauzer. How can we introduce them properly so that they get along?

Well I've tried letting the present dog know that u r still our baby but now u have to share your space with someone new basically take baby steps and ensure that u give them both the same amount of attention so that neither one feels left out. Its always best to have treats handy.
