I have looked at the MTB web cam once or twice over the last night or two and Soi Eric looks like a ghost town. Is June normally this quiet or is it particularly bad this year? This must be soul destroying for the girls and the bar owners. Are the other Soi's the same? I loved low season but you do need some customers around and if the bars don't open till really late most of the night is over! 5555

Singha is 80 thb at MTB. No Chang when I was there in April. Have to wait until next year before I have enough vacation time for another trip. Probably late Jan or Feb.

Is Taipan near MTB as there is a bar next to MTB and there is one girl with a good figure long hair with blonde highlights looks like she might have boobs : " bloody wonder bras! Figure what oversize you think they are, just half it......

Also wouldn't going to another bar in the same Soi a bit naughty? Got talking to the owner of MTB Nicke really nice bloke would I have to buy him a lady drink to keep him happy :

I have just got back to Aus after 2 months in Thailand setting up a bar in Chalong, Phuket(in low season you say??) and after 30yrs of vists i can say i have never known it to be so quiet, Kata was like a ghost town last week and with those new box like bars has no atmosphere. Now i know some of you ex pats like to come over to the east side to play up, so pay a vist to the pickled liver bar in chalong 2 doors down from sea bees dive shop its on the road to chalong pier just down from the roundabout

Last two days has been very quiet, a lot of guys left on Sunday in my case, but the soi has been a ghost town for a while now.

Have seen a few sales at record low prices all over Patong sois lately. Also heard of bars not paying rent for up to a year to their landlords.

So for sure, a lot of bars struggling.

hey starfleet (edit, dunno why i wrote starship, sorry mate) if you're around i'm only at the yorkshire inn around the corner from you. i'll join you for a quiet beverage in soi tiger

i only have to avoid one bar, where me and the tgf beat the 2 senior bar girls at every single game of C4 and jenga variants they threw at us. i still ended up getting them a LD or 2 but the amount of those horrid blue shots we ended up getting for free got the tgf pretty hammered, and me not far off

i can bring the ipad and download the C4 app so you can practice. cant help you with jenga though 5555

Taipan is a nightclub next to Baya Beach Nightclub and Rock City. It is on Rat U Thit Road, virtually next to Bangla.

I would not recommend it for hunting girls unless you are into OAPs! 555

WOW! It really does sound like Phulet (Patong) is really quiet these days. Or it is just the Bars which are quiet, different type of customers coming over, not going down the Soi's. I still enjoying going to Phuket, as it offeres so much to do and people to meet.... And I don't mind less people, but do feel for all the business out there.
