How to introduce my new kitten to two adult cats?

I've had my two adult cats for about a year now. One is male and one is female. They've always been GREAT with each other. We got them at a Humane Society at the same time and they have never even hissed at one another. Yesterday I got a new kitten (male) and he is about eight or nine weeks old. The adults have been hissing at him and even batted him. The female has growled at him a few times now.

So, I know they should warm up to him soon, but should I be concerned about letting them roam free right now? Should I keep a close watch on all of them? Is it possible that they will never get along with the new kitten or will it just take some time? There's not a possibility of me getting rid of the baby kitten so that is not an option. I'm just wondering how to integrate him into our house safely.

All answers are greatly appreciated!!!
 
Do not let them roam the house freely together until you are fully sure that there is no risk of your new wee kitten being injured, so yes you should keep a close watch on all of them. There will be a lot of hissing and growling but as long as there is no fights and flying fur things should all go well.

And, as soon as your new wee kitten is old enough get him neutered.
