I have a keloid scar that is roughly the size of a pencil top eraser. I would like to make it go flatter, but injections haven't helped much and neither has the silicone gel patches (they just make it harder) I've been massaging the scar with Shea butter and Vitamin E oil and it seems a little softer to the touch, but it is still pretty raised.
I just want it to go flat! I don't care about discolouration of the skin area or anything - I just want the scar to be the same level as the surrounding skin.
If I massage it daily with the shea butter and the vitamin E oil, will this make it go flat eventually? I don't mind if it takes months, I am willing to do it.
