Have you ever got in a room, and found a MPA attendent to be (much) more expenisve than you expected? What did you do, opt down, grin and bear (bare?) it, or change MPA's? I recently had this happen to me, and went for it, only to find myself somewhat dissapointed, as she didn't deliver the quality of service I expected.

i had this with tarah when she was at silhouette. was planning on spending $155 (55 door fee, 100 body slide) on a 45 min bodyslide, after the session was over she informed me the price was 205! (55, + 150 for bs) at that point was can you say, but 'i need to go to the bank machine in the lobby.' but that was the last time i saw tarah/cleo, or was at silhouette for that matter.

I had a similar experience at Silhouette, with Jeannie. Ended up costing me 160, with under par service. Only promises that as time goes, she will do more. She is going to wait a long time, because I will never go back to Silhouette.

Years ago I tried a spa at Finch & Dufferin. I paid a fee but that ended up being a very hefty door fee. Any service was extra even a basic hj.

On a positive note. At HFH I never used to go for less than 1 hour. One of the girls used to charge me for a 1/2 hr NR and 1/2 hr BS separately. So the fee to her was only $160. I much appreciated the attitude of this sweetie and have since started paying her $200 when I book for the hour. (Please no PMs about her identity she's a sweetheart and I don't want people houndng her for a discount.)

That is why whenever i feel like visiting a MP & get a good satisfactory services, i only visit my most trusted name "HFH"
But on some occassions i did also visit SRM & found most of their MPA's are also quiet service oriented than ripe-off's at other MP's of lesser repute.

Actually IT was good for that too. Not all of the ladies but some of them were willing to do the half and half $160 for an hour deal. Gotta admit in the later years of IT I was one of their critics but mainly because they did a lot of things right so it was disappointing to see them slide. Kinda like watching your favourite team take a nose dive..... ahem Raptors cough....

Not getting an in the room surprise is one of the reasons why I stick to the well-known spas. It just spoils the mood when an MPA starts upselling all of a sudden. Fortunately, it's rarely happened to me, even at the smaller spa's.

If it's an MP I've never been to, I will get the "how much is this gonna cost me" out of the way. That way, the MPA knows the guy has already made up his mind and most likely won't hassle you. Just speaking from my own experiences.

I tip $25 extra for each additional 15 min beyond the initial 30 min. (NR)

Never gotten BS but I assumed the $25 increase each additional 15 min would also apply.
