Is there an anime shop in Edmonton or area?

I'm a big fan of anime, and I was wondering if there are any good anime shops (for merchandise, etc.) in Edmonton, Canada or even around the area. Any suggestions?

Well I have been looking for an answer to that same question for a while, all I can say is that google won't do much though in west Edmonton mall there is a comiking something like that that sells anime or even HMV or there is like that action figure store that u can get like anime actio figures and stuff hope this helped unlike other people >.> anyways I'm still looking I get free manga from my friend when she's done reading them she gives them to me.

There are at least two otaku clubs (one of which runs Animethon -- typically Heritage Day weekend or the one after) with whom you should be in contact (I am not but that Google search should work).

Further, Happy Harbor and Warp One/Two have (increasingly) less extensive selections. These are easily findable.

You should wander around Chinatown and look especially for Universal and Viet Hoa. Be careful about the presence of English subs and Region 1 or 0 compatibility.

On-line, Netflix is a worthy investment. Look at crackle.com for a small collection of series. (If you tolerate piracy, torrent downloading may work for you, too.)
