Is this Cena-Punk fued introducing a different style of WWE booking.?

The line between Face and Heel Is becoming very blurred.

CM Punk The heel is talking about giving the people what they want.
John Cena The face is saying he could care less if the fans hate him.

Some Heels have been getting bigger pops lately.
Sheamus (even before the face turn)
R-Truth (Watch the Miz-Truth-Christian segment after Capital Punishment)
I even heard a couple Miz pops.
Wade Barrett gets a decent reaction sometimes.
Zack Ryder (before the face turn)

Heels have always gotten some cheers and face's have always gotten some boos. But it looks like the WWE is responding to chants such as "Cena Sucks" "We Want Ryder" and Heel signs.

So the question is, Do you think WWE is introducing a new style of booking where anything can happen and storylines are unpredictable, or am I just an IWC mark getting my hopes up for no reason?

I hope this is a short term thing.

Because for the last 50 years in wrestling there has always been a good guy vs bad guy.
WWE aren't really developing them right OR listening to the audience. Punk shouldn't be heel and Cena shouldn't be face, yet they choose to do nothing about it and let their audience decide, which i think is why the crowds are kinda dead these days, they don't know who to really cheer or boo for.

kinda harkens back to the days of stone cold and the rock. punk seems like the anti hero that austin was. cena is a hypocrate for saying the rock is a sell out for doing movies as cena as done a few movies himself. that makes cena the rock.not the hypocracy but the movies.
