CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – A local massage therapist out of Canfield had his license suspended following allegations of sexual misconduct.
The Ohio Medical Board suspended the license of Fidel Syrianoudis after two women reported that Syrianoudis touched their genitalia inappropriately on separate occasions.
According to Board records, the incidents happened during massage sessions in July and August 2023. Patient 1 said that Syrianoudis touched her underneath her underwear and then pressed his forearm against her underwear area. Patient 2 reported the same activity.
In Board action dated April 10, 2024, Syrianoudis’ license was suspended based on the Board’s determination that “there is clear and convincing evidence that the massage therapist is in violation” and that “his continued practice presents a danger of immediate and serious harm to the public.”
Syrianoudis can request a hearing within 30 days of the April 10 board action.
The Board will determine at a later date whether to permanently revoke Syrianoudis’ license.
Syrianoudis was charged in Girard Municipal Court with two counts of sexual imposition in connection to an August 2023 incident. The victim agreed to dismiss the charges in exchange for Syrianoudis to surrender his license.
