Location of Atlantis

Anybody able to clue me in as to where the Atlantis is located? I understand it is a high-end clip joint strip club. But it appears this is where I will have to go to track down a Colombiana I know that is working in SJ for a few months. She said it is located in a barrio known as La Uruca. Best as I can tell that is more or less a few minutes in a taxi northwest of the Gulch. I know a taxi driver will know where it is but I'd still like to have a better idea myself first. Thanks.

Any taxi driver will know where it is. Be careful, it sounds like you are aware of it's history as a clip joint.

Do you know where the Pozuelo Bakery or the new Toyota Town is or where Immigration is?

If you come down the La Uruca road past Toyota Town, turn right at the Pozuelo bakery, proceed 100 meters as if you were going to Heredia. Turn left at the first road where you can make a left turn and proceed to the first road where you can make a right.

The place you want appears to have an F-117 Stealth Fighter jet blasting out of the wall.

Be careful both inside and outside the building. You must really want to find her if you are willing to go there. Primarily, if you are there and you drop the soap, don't pick it up!

The name of the Colombiana that you are looking fo wouldn't be Nicol...would it? If so,you are correct....I met her at the DR and she said she was working at the well-known clip joint Atlantis.

You are correct, VB. You and I already exchanged PMs about her. I hope (foolishly I suppose) that maybe she'll get a cell phone and share the number with me by Sept. It isn't like I can't find something else to occupy my time over Labor Day weekend if I can't connect with her. :wink:
