GUys being a veteran(ben ther ...Done that up in the Con- cun.yes tha m?tha f?kin Cancun is alive and well,the place is and always will be the LAS VEGAS OF MEXICO.The unfortunate part is (similar to reports fromLV)you get less action for much money.TO many hustlers,wannabe 4feet conmen(can you say tattoo"tha plane the plane"haha)Uhmm when i go; it not that i avoid these place chillys,diva,barE,and the fine (ripoff)places in Veinte uno.I would go jus to seeTHE DUMBASSES"inside ,also to here the riDICKulous waiters with their aggressive attitude and behavior.Yes i would take a peek at the girls(remember gentlemen this is a peep and go deal,NOadmission paid!!!!)and git the f?ck out of dodge.Uhmm really there is a walmart in the central part of the city(Cancun is not a large city by no means)that you have a better chance of meeting woman ;than spending all your vacation money on COn-men,clockwatching escorts,and aggressive pimps.Dont take a cab anywhere from turista zone$$$$.Best bet my friend is to RENT a car .Cancun is small,and the buses are the only thing congested.Also check the beaches for chica,that would love to meet a foreign guy ,and learn english.Also remember everybody is getting commission to get you to come in the club ,buy drinks,and f?ck(even those pu??? azz cabbies)

Bolero and Shampoo are no more... apparently 2 new clubs have replaced... Divas and Bare Elegance. Despite the warnings about tourist trap etc, I'll probably take one for the team and investigate. I'll have details sunday night when I return to the states.

Read the paper Por Esto.This paper has massage parlors and girls that will come to your rooms. It´s best to have someone who speaks Spanish call and set up the details or find out the details before you go. Plenty of variety downtown.
Costs for a massage 300-350 with HJ. Full service can vary from 500-1000. They most of the time will ask for more but will settle for less. Quality varies. More pesos does not always translate to better quality. There all sales people selling a service you need to say no sometimes, but when here a short time you don´t have the time to learn the limits. So if she is nice go for it and give a tip.
Safety is no problem, there is police protection even though the the US travel report says there is none. There is some bickering about back bennifits being owed and the city is slow to pay so there are a few less working in protest,but there are still many police.
With the Taxis know before you get in how is the fare. If you don't they may try to take advaneforum.xxxe of you. If you forget and they try to hose you, there is a tarif chart they carry and demand to see it. If he threatens to call the police let him. Cancun lives and dies by the tourist and they will not stand
for shakedowns by police or taxi drivers. There not going to take you to jail there bluffing.
If you do violate a law speeding, drinking even 1 beer and driving etc. be ready to pay the bite. You can pay 50-100 pesos and get out of most problems. Watch what the cop is doing if takes your information and puts it in a notebook and not a ticket book he is just looking for some pocket money.Just let them talk they do sometimes give verbal warnings without having to pay anything. If it's not anything serious they are not going to take down town or to jail. (cuts into there tip time.)

There are 2 in the city of Cancun. One is called Bolero and the other is called Shampoo. They are not hard to find and they are located not too far from the Daddy-O dance club. Small cover charge to get in....drinks cost a bit more than you might expect...but comparable to other strip clubs. Private dances are anything goes...negotiate with girls BEFORE going back there.

don't be shy about asking waiter to translate...everyone knows what's up. make sure you tip the waiter a buck or two for translation.

Cancun isn't as cheap as people think....to be honest it ends up costing similar to bj clubs in the states....just a change of flavor i guess.

Note, u might want to read the post i made about the travel advisory....also...beware... there is a strip club called Chilly Willys...far enough outside of Cancun that you can't walk it or take public transportation. Cabbies will hassle u to go there...don't do it cuz you'll find yourself paying a 50 each way cab fare.

Same thing will plaza 21 (aka Plaza Vente-Uno)...great place...but if you are solo flying you risk getting rolled by the cabbie and or his buddies. I've heard the Club Blackjack will send a car to pick you up and take you back. Never tried it but they have a website so you can inquire there.

Oh and if it looks too young...it probably is...AVOID or risk extortion etc.
