WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) - A man allegedly robbed a massage parlor and sexually assaulted a masseuse in West Haven back in August.
Police say that on August 18th, officers responded to a local massage parlor on a report of an armed robbery taking place.
Detectives then arrived on scene and spoke to a victim, who said that she was at the parlor when 42-year-old Terrell Meynard forced his way into the establishment.
He then bound the victim’s hands and used a pair of scissors to threaten her.
Meynard stole two cell phones and $600 cash before sexually assaulting the victim. He left the scene afterwards.
After a three month investigation that included help from federal and state police, police were able to determine that Meynard was the suspect and took him into custody.
The information also aided three other towns in the area who had also dealt with robberies at massage parlors.
Meynard is charged with 1st degree robbery, 2nd degree reckless endangerment, 1st degree sexual assault, 4th degree larceny, and 1st degree unlawful restraint.
