[h=3]cape coral business owners upset[/h] By Warren Wright
CREATED 5:24 PM
FORT MYERS, Fla-
A masseuse in cape coral is accused of offering more than just *a massage.
54 year-old yungui chang is facing charges of solicitation for prostitution. police say she offered*
An undercover detective *sexual favors in exchange for money *while she was working at the sunshine asian massage parlor on cape coral parkway.
Now, *other businesses in that same area are worried that this bust will put a black mark on a section of the city that is working to build up it's image.
Carmine valentino who owns country kisses candle shop boutique said we don't want bad things like that happening around here.)
He is is getting ready to open his candle shop next door to the massage parlor... and chose this locaton because he wants to be a part of rebuilding downtown.*
At the wine and roses italian resturant in the same plaza... the owner wondered why customers of the massage parlor always parked in his parking spots and never theirs.
Now hes going to keep a more watchful eye on the area.
In fact he says is going to look twice at everything. second guess things... hopefully make sure everyone is on the up and up.
Carolyn patrick who owns tiffanys international salon was shocked by the arrest.
its bringing a negative conitation on legitimate businesses.
At this salon and spa... all lisecens are on display and when you lay on this massage table... your covered... no exceptions.
But whats being done right -according to these business owners- is the police and their watchful eye.
Businessman jeff radke added that we got a great police chief here..so he's not going to let it go by the wayside.
Chang was transported to the lee county jail where she remains with a $500 bond.*
