Massage Parlors That Are Actually ... Clean

I've tried looking for a thread that focuses on cleanliness but none came up via the search function.

I have noticed that a lot of places skimp on cleanliness. Some of them are real stys, especially those with a lot of old carpeting, rusted shower stalls etc.

I have never seen cleaning personnel in a massage parlor. If/when cleaning occurs, it's usually performed by MPs on their down time or in the room you're in, as you're getting dressed at the end of your session. You can learn a lot just by watching how your MP cleans up after you.

Some of these MPs are too lazy to even massage you with a minimum of technique and yet, they are entrusted to make a room clean when a new client comes in. Yeah, right.

Some places are clean provided that ... you're the first customer to use the premises when they open. After that, it's a bacteria-fest of sweat layered on the massage table for each successive appointment.

Some other places just use an oversized towel to cover their massage table, itself covered by some kind of synthetic fabric on top, which they simply replace with every new client so they don't have to keep washing towels. Far easier for them to just throw out the synthetic material.

Some of the synthetic fabric used is so thin and brittle that it rips easily. You can only assume how porous it is and how they let in fluids on the towel beneath it that stays on the table for every successive client.

It kind of reassures me when I see someone in the room using actual cleaning products and real towels that smell good and that completely cover the surface you're going to be spending the better part of an hour on.

That said, it's all fine and dandy to find the best looking MP, with the best service and the best price. But, what about all of that happening in a real clean place? No, I'm not germophobic but hell, I don't mind paying more and not have to spend time in a friggin' sty.

Any places you've known to really pay attention to cleanliness and who also score high on the usual list of desirable attributes?

My two favorites are 2214 Rene Levesque and Massage Aby.

Both are new facilities, both very clean and well set up. Proper towels and linens. No paper/disposable coverings).

(Once, I was wondering why the rooms were not set up at 2214 when I arrived ie the linen was folded and not laid on the table etc. and then I realized that they wanted you to know that all was freshly laundered before going onto the table, and only after you arrived was the table set up)

2214 is traditional massage setup with showers in each room.

Massage Aby is a grouping of independants sharing a house setup (only one shower), but no crossover of clientelle.

Both have very predictable and consistant services.


For cleanliness and massage quality (limited options) Ginseng on Sherbrooke W is wonderful.

Most of the higher end MPs shower after the session with the client in the room, however I have been to various places where I am not sure the girls shower after the appointment.

I may be able to understand those that only give a HJ and throughly wash their hands afterwards, but those that give nude thai with oil, hard to think that they don't shower between customers. Yet I think many don't.

Any comments?

Well, I went at salon l'evasion recently, and when I enter the room it smeel bad and the spa water was not very clean...

When I went there last week...it was very clean. I also think that if the SPA or the shower weren't clear enough, the ladies wouldn't spent that much time as they do in it!

At Evasion, I do think they take care of they're health also..it's there job to do... so!!!..So it most be cleaned!

Well...I like evasion...so if you tell me it was clean last week, I might try to go back. I alway go at evasion or fantaisie and up to recently they where always clean...so I'll give evasion another try

You have to think more like the girl than the customer here. Can you imagine any girl working or putting up with working in a place that was not clean? It is their health that is constantly subjected to the room, table, show, floor etc. I cannot imagine them not working together in a cooperative manner to keep it clean even if for themselves.

I admit that I have always had doubts about the floor. The table is always changed and clean on my visits to Exotca in Laval. It is you powerful gun guys I worry about .... are you always leaving the bullets on the table? Do you ever drop some shells on the floor? I only hope they wash the floors at least nightly.

In theory I agree, but in practice, I am not so sure. I think each place takes its direction from the owner. I think many girls just follow the norms of the place without questioning to much.

I would have to agree with this. Plus, all those parlors with carpets. Can you imagine how much work would be required to keep the floor clean. Dunno, but seems to me that MPs don't have a lot of say in terms of how a place is managed. For instance, a lot of them are working crazy hours, something like 10 or 12 hour shifts in some cases. I can't imagine any MP wanting to work these types of shifts.

I would have to believe that cleanliness is largely management-driven.
