Massage Therapist Buisness?*Dont have Degree?

So im thinking of starting my own little buisness. I work full time and have a cleaning jobs I do, but I was searching online and I found massage tables online and now im thinking I could start my own buisness. I don't have a degree but its not like im trying to be a chiropractor! So My question is would you ever go to someone who didn't have a degree? I would obviously be preofessional and do all my research,practice ect. I know about the whole muscle thing and that they disect bodies. But I would really be doing it a little more affordable and maybe start a little spa here at my apartment?

I'd be a little careful. In some areas massage therapy has become highly regulated since some government officials think it is a front for prostitution. For example, in my local area, the police set up a sting trying to catch a local business owner. They failed miserably and by the police officer's own account, the therapist became highly offended and threw them out. The same thing happened on multiple occasions in multiple stings. However, the police still managed to make a few technicalities stick (some weird detail about how the towel was placed), and the therapist is now facing jail. Anyhow, the short story is that if you are thinking of starting this in your apartment, be sure you know all the legal requirements.
